When Haewon returned to Lily's room, she found the blonde girl already awake and sitting cross-legged on the bed, her hair tousled from sleep. The morning light gently illuminated the room, casting a warm glow over everything.
"Good morning, Lily," Haewon said softly as she entered, a smile spreading across her face.
Lily looked up from where she sat, her eyes brightening as she saw her. "Good morning, Haewon," she replied with a smile, her voice still tinged with sleep. She stretched her arms above her head, giving Haewon a sleepy but affectionate look.
Haewon walked over and sat down beside her on the bed. She reached out and gently brushed a strand of hair from her face. "How did you sleep?"
Lily yawned and leaned into her touch. "I slept really well, actually. How about you? Did you have a good morning?"
Haewon nodded, her expression thoughtful. "Yes, I did. I had a nice chat with your dad. He's really a great guy."
Lily's face lit up with a mix of curiosity and relief. "Oh? What did you talk about?"
Haewon took a deep breath, choosing her words carefully. "We talked about our relationship and her hopes for you. He asked about my intentions and how I plan to support you. It was a deep conversation, but I felt it was important."
Lily looked at Haewon with admiration. "That sounds like a meaningful conversation. I'm glad you had a chance to talk with him."
Haewon smiled warmly. "Yeah, it was. He seemed to appreciate my honesty and reassured me that I'm welcome in the family."
Lily reached out and took Haewon's hand, squeezing it gently. "I'm so happy to hear that. It means a lot to me that you and my family are getting along well."
Haewon squeezed her hand back, her eyes filled with affection. "It means a lot to me too. I care about you deeply, and being accepted by your family is really important."
They sat in a comfortable silence for a moment, enjoying the peacefulness of the morning. Lily leaned her head on Haewon's shoulder, and she wrapped an arm around her, holding her close.
"How about we take a hot shower? It's really chilly this morning."Haewon suggested
Lily looked up at her with a smile. "That sounds like a great idea. It'll definitely warm us up."
They both headed to the en-suite bathroom attached to Lily's room. The room was cozy, with soft, neutral tones and a large bathtub. Haewon turned on the tap to fill the bathtub with hot water, creating a steamy, inviting atmosphere.
As the tub filled, Lily started to unwind and relax, shedding her pajamas and reaching for a plush towel. Haewon followed suit, and they both stepped into the bath together. The hot water was soothing, and they sighed in contentment as they submerged into the warmth.
As Haewon and Lily stepped into the bath, they were greeted by the soothing sensation of the hot water against their skin. Haewon let out a contented sigh as she settled into the tub, stretching out her legs and leaning back. The warmth enveloped her, easing away the tension from the long trip and the chilly air outside.
Lily followed suit, easing herself into the water and letting out a soft sigh of relief. She took a moment to adjust to the heat, her shoulders relaxing as she sank deeper into the bath. The steam clung to their skin, creating a soft glow around them in the dim light of the bathroom.
The bathroom itself was elegantly designed, with soft lighting that cast a gentle glow over the space. Neutral tones and natural textures created a calming ambiance. A small window allowed a view of the serene morning outside, but the room was well shielded from the cold.
