Chapter Thirty: Im Willing To Wait

In Haewon's apartment, the six friends are gathered in the bright and cozy living room. The comfortable sofa serves as their seating, and the coffee table in front is filled with snacks and drinks. They chat and laugh, making the atmosphere lively.

Jiwoo, with a hint of frustration, says to Lily, "You know, Kyujin really makes me eat vegetables every day. I don't really like them, but she says it's important for health."

Kyujin, sitting next to Jiwoo, interjects with a guilty but firm tone, "The reason I insist is because I care about Jiwoo. Vegetables are really good for your body. Besides, if she doesn't eat them, who will take care of her?"

Jiwoo responds with a wry smile, "I know, but sometimes it feels like I'm going to explode when she keeps pushing."

Lily, listening to the conversation, tries to be supportive with empathy. "Maybe Kyujin means well. Eating vegetables isn't that bad. We all need to take care of our health, right?"

Kyujin nods hopefully, "Exactly! I just want what's best for Jiwoo. I just hope she understands why I do this."

Haewon, who had been listening silently, finally laughs at the antics of Jiwoo and Kyujin. "Haha, I think Kyujin is the type who would do anything for someone she loves."

Bae and Sullyoon, sitting on the side, also laugh at the conversation, joining in cheerfully. "Kyujin's quirks are well-known. But it's okay, we all love her with all her ways," says Bae with a smile.

The atmosphere remains lively with continuous laughter and banter. As everyone is still enjoying the humor, Bae and Sullyoon finally draw attention with important news. Sullyoon, looking a bit shy but happy, says, "Actually, we have something to share with everyone."

When Bae and Sullyoon decided to share their engagement news, everyone in Haewon's apartment turned their full attention to them. The atmosphere in the room grew more serious with anticipation for the important announcement.

Sullyoon, looking somewhat nervous but excited, took a deep breath and said gently, "We have something very important to share. After discussing and thinking about our future, we both feel this is the right step for us. So, we wanted to share this news with all of you."

Bae, sitting next to Sullyoon, looked at their friends with a broad smile and added, "We are thrilled and happy to announce that we want to get engaged. This is a big decision for us, and we hope you all will celebrate with us."

As Bae spoke, Jiwoo, sitting on the edge of the sofa, became excited and immediately stood up. With a face full of joy, she jumped up and hugged Sullyoon tightly. "Oh my God! This is such wonderful news! Congratulations, Bae and Sullyoon!" She then turned to Bae, giving her an enthusiastic hug as well, her face shining with happiness.

Haewon, not wanting to miss out on the excitement, also stood up and raised her glass. With a broad smile, she said, "I'm so happy for both of you! This engagement is a big step, and I'm sure you both will handle this phase wonderfully. Cheers to Bae and Sullyoon!"

Kyujin, who was sitting next to Jiwoo, also raised his glass and cheered, "Congratulations, Bae and Sullyoon! I'm really happy for you. Make sure to invite us to the engagement party!"

Jiwoo, still excited, said to Sullyoon, "So, have you thought about the date and place yet? I can't wait to know more!"

Sullyoon smiled and replied, "We're still in the early planning stages, but we will definitely let you all know as soon as possible. We want this event to be special and festive."

Kyujin added, "If you need any help with planning, don't hesitate to ask. We're all here to help."

Bae nodded gratefully, "Thank you so much, Kyujin. We really appreciate all the support and help from you all."
