As the sun began to set, casting a warm golden hue over the house,I set off in search of Rosè. I had finally found the information she needed after about almost 2hours of suffering through all my college presentations.

After checking a few rooms and not finding her, a thought crossed my mind—a memory from our childhood. I
remembered how she always loved to retreat to the garden whenever she needed a moment of peace.

It had been her favorite spot to relax and unwind since we were kids.Stepping out into the backyard, I immediately spotted her. She was sitting on the grass, her back to me,hair loosely tied back, with a few strands escaping to dance in the gentle breeze.

She looked peaceful and content, her eyes closed as she tilted her face towards the sky, soaking in the soft glow of the fading sunlight. The garden was filled with the soft rustling of leaves and the distant chirping of birds.

I paused for a moment, watching her. The sight was almost magical—Rosè surrounded by the lush greenery, looking so at ease. The slight breeze played with the edges of her dress, making her appear almost ethereal. Not wanting to disturb the moment but needing to pass along the information, I slowly walked over.

"Hey, muffin" I called softly, not wanting to startle her.She opened her eyes and turned to me, a small smile forming on her lips. "Hey, Andrew" I smiled back, holding up the papers. "I found the stuff for your presentation and thought you might want to look it over."

She reached out to take the papers, her smile widening. "Thankyou, I really appreciate it."I sat down beside her, glancing around the garden. "So tell me what's going on in that walnut sized brain of yours" I said in a teasing tone.

She looked at me in disbelief then turned her head looking out at the swaying trees. "Nothing. Just sitting here, feeling the breeze... it's calming. Some things never change."

I looked at her, a soft expression on my face " Just tell" my voice soft but demanding.Rosè sighed looking away with a faint smile. She looked tired but anybody looking at her face could easily make out she's Overthinking.

As we sat together in the garden, the serene ambiance enveloped us, yet an undercurrent of tension subtly hummed between us. I fiddled with the papers in my hands, glancing at Rosè out of the corner of my eye. She seemed contemplative, her gaze fixed on the flowers in front of her.

For a moment, neither of us spoke, the silence both comfortable and charged with anticipation.Suddenly, Rosè broke the silence, her voice slightly hesitant yet curious. "So, Andrew," she began, her tone casual but laced with a hint of nervousness. "Have you ever had a girlfriend? Or do you have one now?"

The question hung in the air, catching me off guard. I turned to face her, my eyebrows raised slightly in surprise. I noticed the slight blush on her cheeks, the way she avoided my gaze, as if the question had slipped out before she could stop herself.
