Despite not sleeping a wink, Alex and Liam woke up feeling refreshed, their love and determination fueling them through the night. As the first rays of dawn filtered through the windows, Liam broke the peaceful silence between them. He knew the day ahead would be a turning point in their lives.

"Baby," Liam said softly, his voice tender yet firm.

Alex looked up at him, trying to mask his reluctance to let Liam go to his wedding. He knew Liam was doing all this for their future, but the uneasiness gnawed at him. Liam, however, could read Alex like an open book. Without a word, he leaned in and kissed Alex passionately, their lips meeting in a promise of unwavering commitment.

"You know my plan," Liam began, his forehead resting against Alex's. "But I don't want you to worry by leaving you here. I want you to come with me and watch it all unfold. I promise you, Veronica will be yours to deal with however you see fit but on one condition no matter what happens, don't lose your cool, okay?"

Alex, taken aback by Liam's proposal, nodded. The idea of witnessing Veronica's downfall firsthand and having the chance for his revenge filled him with a sense of empowerment. "I promise," he whispered, his voice filled with determination.

When they returned home, they found their families and Veronica's parents gathered in the living room. Veronica was pacing back and forth, a picture of nervous energy. As soon as Liam and Alex entered the room, Veronica rushed towards Liam, attempting to hug him. Liam stepped back, stopping her with a raised hand.

"This is allowed after the marriage," he said, his tone cold and distant. Veronica reluctantly agreed, explaining that she had been worried when she couldn't find Liam in the morning. Liam reassured her, lying that he had been helping Alex with his company. Alex, seated on the side, was struggling to keep his cool, but the promise he made to Liam kept him grounded.

Final wedding arrangements continued, everyone, masking their true emotions. Guests began arriving, and Veronica retreated to the dressing room to get ready. Liam attended to the guests with his parents, while Alex sat on the sidelines, his mind drifting to a different reality where he was marrying Liam. His reverie was interrupted by the approach of his parents. This time, he didn't react with the same intensity as before.

His parents sat beside him, their faces etched with regret. "We're so sorry, Alex," his father began, his voice heavy with guilt. "We will wholeheartedly accept your relationship with Liam."

Alex didn't respond verbally, but his silence conveyed forgiveness. They knew their son had a big heart, and this was his way of showing it.

As the ceremony approached, Liam signaled his men to execute the plan. Everything went smoothly; Veronica was kidnapped, and a letter detailing her crimes was left behind. Just as planned, one of the bridesmaids came running, informing everyone that the bride had run away, leaving a letter. Liam took the letter and read it aloud, his voice trembling with feigned hurt and betrayal. He even shed a few tears, convincing everyone of his heartbreak.

Sympathy for Liam spread through the room like wildfire. Suddenly, the screen behind Liam lit up, showing videos of Veronica's plotting against Alex. The final clip was a confession from the man Veronica had paid to do her dirty work. He detailed her schemes and expressed his remorse for his involvement. The room fell silent, tears welling up in the eyes of the guests as they realized the extent of Alex's suffering.

Veronica's parents, their faces pale and drawn, apologized profusely to both Alex and Liam. "We had no idea," her father stammered, "we're so sorry."

Liam kept his head down, a smirk playing on his lips that only Alex noticed. Alex felt pride for his mate, who had orchestrated the perfect revenge.

Veronica's parents announced their decision to go abroad, unable to face the shame and guilt. They left quietly, followed by the other guests, who offered their condolences to Alex and Liam. The wedding was over before it began, the bride having effectively vanished.

As the last guests departed, Alex and Liam stood together, their hands intertwined. The weight of the day's events settled over them, but there was also a sense of relief. They had faced one of their biggest challenges and come out stronger.

Liam turned to Alex, his eyes filled with love and determination. "This is just the beginning, baby. We're going to build our future together, and no one will ever come between us again."

Alex smiled, his heart swelling with love. "I know, Liam. I trust you."
