NOW PLAYING: Over And Over
By Rio Romeo

♫  Boom-ba-da, doom-ba-da
Boom-ba-da, doom-ba-da
Boom-ba-da, doom-ba-da
Boom-ba-da, doom-ba-da
Boom-ba-da, doom-ba-da
(Over and over, and)
(Over and over, and)
(Over and over)
Over and over
I fuck myself over
And under and under
I do it again
Morning and evening
I felt I was grieving
Until I said, "fuck you"
And never again
Daytime or nighttime
I feel I was on my time
But my time is fickle
Just like a friend
And with my departure
From the pain I harbour
I feel I am sinking
And never sailing to swim
Over and over, and
Over and over, and
Over and over, and
Over and
Over and over, and
Over and over, and
Over and over, and
Over and over, and
Over and over

˚₊· ͟͟͞͞➳❥ THREE WEEKS have passed since the church went down. Three weeks since Evin had to watch his mom die. Three weeks since Evin and Mila lost their mother. Three weeks since Evin's whole life came crashing down. Evin thought the pain of losing his best friend was bad. Well, it was. It was the most painful thing Evin has ever harboured, but losing his mother too. That was something else.

Even though Jane wasn't all that motherly towards Evin and Mila when they were younger, the death still crunched him like a bitch. The pain was too much. Evin's heart constantly felt heavy. Constantly felt like something was missing. This is how he felt like when he lost Connor, but this time it was much worse. All the feelings were much worse to
keep up with.

Evin's doesn't know what to do with himself. Evin knows Mila is extremely upset about this too. She's been crying none stop for the past three weeks. Evin feels guilty for only thinking about himself and his own struggles and feelings about the matter. But he doesn't know what else to do.

Evin hasn't slept in days. The constant yelling of his mother telling him to go was too overwhelming for him. When night fell and everyone was sleeping Evin just sat by a tree and looked at the stars. He often liked to pretend his mom, dad and Connor were looking down at him. Smiling at him. It made him feel better on the worst nights.

Mila hasn't been sleeping all that much too. Evin knew this. He often caught her tossing and turning on the floor or just simply looking up at the stars like Evin does. She sometimes joins him by the tree but they don't say anything. It's that or the soft cries from the younger. It broke Evin's heart to hear his sister's pained cries in the bitter night, but there was nothing he could do. Nothing to make this whole thing feel better for her. For himself.

This was one of those nights again. Evin sat down on the mucky floor, resting against the wooden tree. Evin lifted his head up slightly to look up at the sky. He stayed like this for a little while longer as a few stray tears falling down his face. Just then a soft crunching noise came from in front of him. Thinking it was a walker Evin quickly snatched his gun from its holster and aimed it at the sound.
