"a carnival? how... boring,"
saiko grunted with boredom, staring down at the shorter girl with a bored look. [name] had a feeling saiko would turn down the idea, especially if bob was the guy running the whole thing. but it was worth a try.
[name] placed a carefree hand on her shoulder, sluggishly letting her nondominant hand swing back and forth slightly, "lighten up, saiko. it could be fun,"
saiko narrowed her eyes at the hand placement, "huh?"
of course, a carnival didn't interest saiko, she found it childish even if it was spending it with [name]. what reason did she have to go either way? she huffed, leaning against the wall.
"just one game," [name] suggested, removing her hand from saiko's shoulder.
saiko raised an eyebrow, letting out her iconic annoyed sound. "just one?" she questioned.
[name] nodded, holding one finger up to emphasize her point. saiko clicked her tongue, contemplating her choice. she could go for one game and then leave or she could stay with [name] until the night is over. she never liked cute things or anything associated with cute stuff but if it meant spending time with [name] even for a little, she could tolerate it.
"fine, one game," she huffed, slightly rolling her eyes.
[name] responded with a satisfied smile, seeing how the psycho girl's wall broke down slightly, "i knew you'd come around,"
the two girls locked eyes for a brief moment then began to walk towards the carnival, [name] taking the lead. she was quite ecstatic for this brief bonding time and deep down, saiko wanted this. once they arrived they noticed that no one was around, meaning they had the whole place to themselves
'maybe bob running this place made people want to leave?' [name] thought to herself, looking around.
even if there was no one around, something about the atmosphere lacked excitement. not to mention the carnival was out in the middle of nowhere, much to saiko's irritation. nonetheless, saiko hummed to herself, enjoying that no one was present, meaning she could do whatever she wanted. she looked down at the shorter girl and questioned her.
"well, where are we going first?"
[name] thought then spoke up, "let's see the prizes offered here,"
it was a good start that way both girls could focus on winning the games and taking home something.
"knowing bob he probably set everything at an unreasonable price," saiko snorted, crossing her hands over her chest.
[name] laughed in agreement, knowing saiko was right. there was a chance neither girls were going to come out of the carnival with a prize but hey, it's the memories that count, right? they arrived at the prize corner and noticed the crazy number of tickets someone had to get to earn a prize.
