meggy, tari, and [name] walked through the halls of the convention, looking around at the colorful and decorative booths. tari was extremely excited about this event since she could use this opportunity to get more items of her favorite shows. meggy and [name] were dragged along, meggy was reluctant about the event however she didn't want to make her friend sad tagged along. saiko on the other hand didn't entertain the idea and quickly rejected tagging along with [name.] as much as [name] wanted her to join she decided to give the woman her space.
as they walked through the halls, [name] casually tailed around, watching as tari thoroughly enjoyed herself cosplaying as link. a warm sensation spread through [name]'s mind as she watched her two companions enjoy themselves.
"oh, oh! isn't this amazing, you guys!?" tari marvelled, her eyes widening with awe.
meggy didn't respond and instead was focused on the three moles walking past by cosplaying as squids from her respective video game. it was an interesting view and a slightly uncomfortable one for meggy.
"this place, is uh, interesting," she finally spoke, looking back at tari.
[name] leaned back a bit to stretch her arms, "fascinating indeed," she commented. her face scrunched as she finished stretching then let her arms fall to the side.
tari jumped around to face the two girls, a smile on her face, "thanks for coming with me! i'd be too shy to come and cosplay alone,"
meggy jumped in surprise when a man cosplaying as a character appeared behind her. she let out a few surprised noises then slowly looked back at tari, awkwardly chuckling.
"no worries tari," she assured. she could feel her heart thumping against her chest at the scare and tried to soothe herself by continuing, "i'm always up for new stuff."
[name] looked down at meggy with a smile, "you'll get used to it," she assured with a shrug. she looked around, "it could've been worse,"
meggy looked at [name], unsure what to think of her remark. the somewhat awkward atmosphere was broken when boopkins spoke up from the side. to their right stood boopkins in his aime store, filled with figures, dolls, and unfortunately, anime pillows. if it weren't for the weird positions the girls on the body pillow were doing, [name] would at least feel welcomed by the other array of items.
"hey guy,s come in and check out my anime store, please!" the green fish pleaded.
meggy's eyes widened with horror, memories of boopkins and bob's love for anime flooding her mind. she could vividly remember their screeches of excitement, visualize whenever they went against each other for an anime. how she wished to keep those memories locked up forever in her brain.
tari was awed at the sight, and boopkins took it as a green light to highlight everything his booth had. he showed off figurines, body pillows, DVD and CDs, even going as far as to promote his own manga. when he finished his ramble meggy took the first step back.
