VALERIA PAID FOR HER FOOD and made her way to the cafeteria. She saw Daniel and Ali sitting with each other, giggling and laughing. She sent them a friendly smile and walked away to go sit with Susan and Barbara.

"Hey girls"

"Hey" they both said. "Barbara told me about Daniel's little outburst yesterday at the soccer tryouts. What happened there?" Valeria sighed. "The cobras happened".

"The cobras what?" Valeria looked over her shoulder and met eyes with Johnny. "None of your business King Karate".

"Well it might be my business if you're talking about Cobra Kai"

"Yeah Cobra Kai, not a single word about you Johnny Lawrence"

"You've been very pissed lately, how come?" Valeria rolled her eyes. "Oh please like you care"

"Um I think we're gonna go, right Barb..?"

"Yeaahh" the girls awkwardly said as they grabbed their trays and walked away. Are you serious right now? "Guess your friends are gone. So it looks like it's just you and me".

Johnny's eyes went from Valeria's eyes to her lips. And then down to her boobs. "Did you sit with me so you can come and stare at my body you perv?".

"You're gross Johnny Lawrence" she said covering her chest. "Yeah well don't act like you weren't checking me out yesterday when I had my shirt off".

"And remind me what is it that you're here for?" Before Johnny could speak, Bobby had called for him. He got up and walked away. Finally some peace.

Daniel then sat next to Valeria. He had a big smile on his face. "Looks like someone's feeling better! Enjoying your time with Ali?" He nodded. "Yeah I guess so".

Valeria was glad that he met Ali. Besides him being mad, that was also probably the happiest she's seen him. He smiles and laughs more with Ali than he did with Judy.

"Earth to Valeria?" Daniel asked as he snapped his fingers in her face. "Sorry. I'm just really glad you're getting along with Ali. Besides you not really liking California and stuff, y'know".

He shrugged. "Well at least something good came out of this big move" they both laughed.

Valeria laid in her bed as she finished up some homework. Her landline on her nightstand rang. She picked the phone up and put it to her ear. "Helllo?"

"Hi Valeria. Sorry for calling so late but I think there's something wrong with Daniel. Something that he's not telling me..." Mrs. Larusso said.

Valeria sighed. "Well to be honest Mrs. Larusso, Daniel has been getting bullied at school.."

"Oh god. Why?"

"For no reason at all. Those guys who are bullying him are just a bunch of assholes"

"There's multiple people..?" Valeria stood quiet and Mrs. Larusso sighed over the phone. "First a black eye and now that big red mark on his forehead".

"What mark on his forehead?"

"Well when I came home he was throwing away his bike and he was very mad. Maybe it's those boys who are making him like this. I just want Daniel to be happy in this new place" Valeria could tell by her voice that she was about to start crying.

"Don't worry Mrs. Larusso. Things will get better, I promise. I'll fix this"

"Thank you Valeria. And sorry for disturbing you. Good night sweetheart"

"Good night Mrs. Larusso" she put the landline back on the receiver. Valeria sighed. She didn't want to see her best friend so mad and his mom calling her on the phone worrying about him again. She'd have to talk to Johnny about this tomorrow. Hopefully he'd listen...
