IT WAS FINALLY FRIDAY AND the first week of school was almost over. Everyone was ready to go out and have fun for the weekend. But Valeria on the other hand, she had other things to do.

When everyone got out of school, Valeria didn't see Johnny or his friends anywhere. They probably already ran off to Cobra Kai. "Val!" She looked behind her to see Daniel and that mark on his forehead that Mrs. Larusso told her about over the phone. "Are you ok Daniel?" She pushed his hair back to get a better look at it.

He put his head down and sighed. "Yeah I'm fine. Just another bike accident". He lied. "Daniel I know that's not true. What really happened". He just looked at her with his lips parted like he was about to say something but he didn't. "Look if it has something to do with Johnny and the boys then you can tell me".

"Yeah it was stupid Johnny and his little friends last night, made me fall off my bike and roll down the hill..." he quietly said. "Well where's your bike now?". Valeria didn't even realize he didn't have his bike until now. "Gone. I'm done with that bike. Taking the bus is more safer".

"Get in my car. I'll drive you home". He shook his head. "It's fine Val I'll just take the bus".

"Well after what you just told me, I think it's better if I drive you home. I don't want you to bump into them again just so you can have another black eye or a bruise". He sighed as he made his way to the passenger seat.

"I'll see you later Daniel!". He waved at her. "Bye Val!". Valeria drove off, going to Cobra Kai. Knowing that's where the boys would probably be at around this time. She didn't like the fact that Johnny was bullying him and giving him black eyes for absolutely no reason. She could just wait until Johnny gets back home but she wanted to do something about it. And to take care of it now.

She parked her car on the other side of the street from Cobra Kai. She saw the boys come out of the dojo with their red cobra Kai jackets on. She quickly crossed the street and walked over to them. Johnny smiled when he saw her. "Hey Val. What a surprise you're here".

"Johnny I have to talk to you"

"Well what is it?" He asked. All his friends were right behind him, waiting for what you had to say. "I would like to talk alone if that's ok with you and your little friends". Johnny laughed and turned around to the boys. "You guys go ahead. I'll catch up with you guys in a few minutes".

"Alright" the boys said as they walked down the street, leaving Johnny and Valeria. "So what is it princess?" He said with his arms crossed. Her eyes widened. She didn't know how to react to that nickname. "I need you to leave Daniel alone". She said getting straight to the point.

Johnny laughed. "And why should I?". Valeria gave him an "are you serious right now" look. "Because he didn't do shit to you. And yet he goes home with a bruise or a black eye because of you". "Well maybe if he learns to mind his business and stay out of my way-

"Who cares Johnny! Just leave him alone and he won't have a problem with you. And neither will I". "That sucks cause I like the idea of you having a problem with me" he said with a little laugh. "You're an ass Johnny. Just get it through your thick skull, leave him the hell alone!". She began to walk away.

"Well what's in it for me?" He called out. She turned around and walked back over to him. "Nothing". "Well if you want me to leave your friend alone, I think there should be something in it for me!". Valeria rolled her eyes. "Like what?". He sat there thinking about it.

"Go out with me. Be my girlfriend" she laughed. "Are you serious? Not in a million years Lawrence". "Well then I guess this year is going to be a world of pain for Daniel". He said walking off. "Wait!". He turned back around with a smirk on his face. Fuck. Valeria couldn't believe what she was doing right now.

"If I go on one date with you, will you leave him alone for good?" She asked. "I don't think one date is fair if you want me to leave him alone for good Val". Valeria crossed her arms. "Then what is fair?". "For you to be my girlfriend".

"I don't know about being your girlfriend but I can settle for a few dates with you. Nothing more!". Johnny smiled. "Great. A few dates it is! Be ready tomorrow by 8, I'll pick you up". He said with a smile as he walked down the street.

Valeria sat in her car. What the fuck did she just do. Did she really agree to go on a few dates with Johnny Lawrence? Just so he could leave her best friend alone? Valeria couldn't believe what just happened. And now she has a date tomorrow with him. But as long as it's good enough to keep Johnny away from Daniel, she'd do it. She wanted him to like and get used to California. And with Johnny around him, there was no way that was going to happen. Valeria just hoped that she was making the right decision....
