IT WAS SATURDAY AFTERNOON AND Valeria sat in her room. Dreading every minute that went by. Her date with Johnny was today. And every time she thought about it, it made her stomach turn, making her feel a little sick. But she also felt a little excited at the same time. What is wrong with me she thought.

She couldn't be excited to go on a date with Johnny Lawrence. Or could she be? She felt like she should cancel on him but she couldn't back out. She made a deal with Johnny and she was going to stick what that deal. It was all for Daniel. Not her, Daniel.

Around 6 o'clock is when she decided to get ready. Even though she didn't really care too much about this date, she still at least wanted to smell good and look decent. She put on a red mini dress with her black converses.

She went downstairs into the kitchen to get a drink. Her sister Vickie was laying on the floor in the living room coloring. The front door unlocked and opened revealing her mom. She smiled at her eldest daughter.

"You look nice. Where are you going?" Valeria sighed. "I have a date tonight.." "well you don't sound too happy about it. Do you not wanna go?"

"No not really. I'm only going on this date for Daniel" her mom furrowed her eyebrows in confusion. "For Daniel?" Valeria nodded. "Yep. This guy at our school has been bullying him and yesterday I made a deal with him that if I went on a date with him, he'd leave Daniel alone".

"Well that's awful. How is Daniel doing?" Valeria shrugged. "Haven't heard from him since Thursday but I'll check up on him at his apartment after my date".

Her mom nodded as she walked over to the living room to say hi to Vickie. A few minutes later, the doorbell rang and Valeria immediately knew it was Johnny. She walked over to the door and opened it enough for only her to be seen. And yes, it was Johnny. "Bye mom I'll see you in a couple of hours!" She closed the door behind her and looked at Johnny as he had a smile on his face.

"What?" He shook his head. "Nothing". It wasn't nothing. She looked good in that mini dress, and it was in red. His favorite color. He couldn't ignore the fact of how hot she looked right now. "So whose car are we taking?" Valeria asked as she walked down her driveway.

"We can go on my bike" Valeria scoffed. "Over my dead body" she began. "I would never go on that bike with you especially". "Fine then we can take my car". They walked over to Johnny's driveway where his car was parked at outside.

"Ever been to Golf n Stuff?" he said as he started driving. "Who hasn't" they laughed. "You know I never thought that you, Valeria Vaughn, would go on a date with me"

"Well don't be too flattered cause I'm only doing this for Daniel". Valeria just knew without looking at him that he had rolled his eyes. "Well once we get to Golf n Stuff, you're going to forget all about Daniel and this deal". Now Valeria had rolled her eyes. "Whatever.."

Johnny parked his car and they got out as they walked inside of Golf N Stuff. He put his arm around her shoulder and Valeria grabbed his hand and took his arm off. "Just because we're on a date. Doesn't mean that we are dating".

"Quit being stubborn Val. Have some fun" they walked into the arcade and you know Johnny wanted to do those competition games like air hockey, racing games, etc.

You were able to beat him at air hockey and he beat you at one of those bike racing games. "Hey Johnny, since you're so competitive and like challenges and stuff, how about we split up and play games and whoever can collect the most tickets wins".

"Oh yeah. And what does the winner get?" Valeria took a second to think about it. "The winner can do whatever they want with the loser" Johnny smirked, he just knew he was going to win. "Alright let's do it. Meet back in 20?"
