"There you go!" Kelly exclaimed with a warm smile, watching as Eryx managed to pull himself up, gripping the edge of the coffee table for support.

Eryx bounced up and down excited as Kelly clapped for him. His legs wobbled a bit as he did so as his laughs filled the living room. Kelly reached out to steady him just in case but she made sure to not stop him from enjoying himself.

Her phone was propped up, LaMelo on FaceTime, checking in on them.

"Yeah, soon he's gonna be hooping," LaMelo said with a grin, and Kelly rolled her eyes playfully.

"Let him be able to walk on his own two feet first," Kelly laughed, standing up to go give Honey some food.

As she poured the food into Honey's bowl, Eryx reached for her phone, babbling excitedly to his dad. Kelly smiled at him and put water in Honey's bowl before she went back to Eryx, who was now trying to chew on the phone.

"Sir, please, I just got a new phone," Kelly said, gently taking the phone from him. Eryx pouted and let out a small cry.

"Ay, give the phone back to my son," LaMelo said, Kelly not paying him anymind.

"You buying me a new phone?" Kelly asked, cleaning the slobber off her phone while balancing Eryx on her hip.

"I bought you that one, didn't I?" LaMelo smirked, and Kelly rolled her eyes, heading upstairs with Eryx.

"True," she nodded, a smile tugging at her lips.

Reaching the nursery, Kelly laid Eryx on the changing table. She looked down at the little boy, who had already forgotten his earlier upset and was now giggling and reaching for her hair. She changed him into a swimming diaper and some trunks before they walked over to her room.

"So tomorrow I'm taking Eryx to go see your mom and dad. They want to keep him for a few days" Kelly told the basketball player as she went into her closet to find her swimsuit. "Our flight leaves tonight"

"Yeah, they told me about that. I'm surprised you agreed" he told her as he was also getting ready.

"I know, but it's time I let him go stay the night somewhere. Plus, I'll be only 30 minutes away from him so I'm not so nervous about it" Kelly changed into her bikini.

- The Next Day -

"There he is!" LaVar's loud voice boomed as he saw his grandson arrive.

Eryx jumped a bit, startled by the sudden noise, and then stuck his lip out as his eyes filled with tears. He clung to his mom, scared.  Kelly pulled him close, rubbing his back gently.

"Aw baby, it's okay," she chuckled. "LaVar, you scared him," she laughed more, trying to soothe Eryx.

LaVar looked a bit sheepish but still grinned big. "Sorry about that, little man. Grandpa just gets excited."

Tina came over and took Eryx from Kelly's arms. "Come here, sweetheart," she cooed. Eryx nestled into his grandmother's arms, sucking his finger as he began to calm down.

Kelly watched them with a smile, Eryx's initial scare going away as Tina rocked him gently.

"He's getting so big," Tina remarked, looking down at her grandson. "And he's such a sweetheart."

LaVar joined them with a softer demeanor. He reached out to gently pat Eryx's back. "I didn't mean to scare you," he said softly.

Eryx peeked up at LaVar, his tears drying up as he looked at him for a moment before a small smile began to form on his lips.

"That's better," LaVar said with a smile. "We're going to have so much fun together."

All of his things are in his bag, and I made sure to pack his toys because he somehow always ends up with the same toys," Kelly laughed a bit as she handed the bag to Lavar. "I have to get to my mom's soon, so I'm gonna get going." She turned to Eryx, who was still cuddled up with Tina. "Give Mommy a kiss."
