IN WHICH, johnnys pick up
from a holding cell isn't as
heartfelt as anticipated !

━━━━━━━━━━━ "THIRD TIMES THE CHARM IS IT JOHNNY?" just in case it was unclear, this was in fact the third occasion patrick o'connel had to rescue the lawrence man from an overnight trip to a holding cell, and it was also usually for letting his karate past get the best of him — but busting out karate moves on kids? now that was a first . "didn't know you enjoyed battering a group of kids outside a strip mall."

johnny scoffed at the unsuccessful attempt of lightening the mood. "yeah very funny patrick." he sighed, trailing ahead of the o'connel man. johnny lawrence was a man who refused to experience embarrassment, he stood by his actions no matter how pathetic, or childish they were. but in these circumstances, despite still standing by what he had done the night prior, he was most definitely feeling the humiliation.

"c'mon johnny have a laugh, i mean i just busted your ass out of a free holiday in a cage — and trust me then things don't get five stars on google." patrick joked, jogging up to the blonde man infront of him, patting him on the back in a humorous way, but unfortunately for him, johnny was far from a laughing mood, especially at jokes at his own expense.

"yeah well, you would know too wouldn't you." johnny spat, not even bringing himself to look at the o'connel man to his left. "you weren't always mister big shot back in the 80's, were you?"

patrick froze on the spot, his face dropping at the hurtful comment from his supposedly closest companion. not many people knew of the o'connel boy's year juvie sentence after he left karate — not even his own wife juliette. johnny was one of the few aware of what went down in his late teen years, and for him to bring it up after everything patrick had done for him, was rather an ungrateful comment.

"really johnny?" there was no denying that johnny was one for the snappy remarks here and there, but this one was most definitely out of character for even the lawrence boy, yet despite being aware of his current situation, patrick was still equally as taken aback. "and god to think i was doing you a favour! — but ofcourse, johnny lawrence can't see a good thing infront of him unless it uppercuts him in the face."

"yeah well last time i checked, i didn't ask you for a favour patrick." johnny snapped, swiftly turning himself around to face patrick, the pair now squaring up to one another. "— think you forgot that part."
