we didn't know we needed !

━━━━━━━━━    ❝ ANOTHER DAY, ANOTHER PHONE CALL FROM ROBBY'S SCHOOL.❞  johnny lawrence slammed the door of the o'connel house behind him, his car keys looped around his fingers as he went and threw himself onto the couch, his hands running through his hair. "the kids told the school that we've gone on a father - son fishing trip just so he can ..." johnny's eyebrows furrowed in confusion as he turned to realise the individual resting on the other couch to the right of him wasn't patrick o'connel, and instead sat his daughter. "— skip school ... now you aren't your dad are you." he stated, confused as to why the o'connel girl was sat at home, rather then school.

"nope." eloise replied, popping the p as she spoke. "he's at work, and i'm uh ... sick." she lied, attempting to convince the lawrence man of her lie with a clearly fake cough.

"sick my ass." johnny shook his head. "just come back from dealing with my kid skipping school, only to come and find my best friends kid skipping!"

it was true, eloise had pulled off a 'sicky' on the morning after the halloween dance. with the events that happened the night prior, and calling yasmine a 'bitch' before storming off, the o'connel girl quite practically couldn't be bothered dealing with the aftermath of her dramatic exit — and she most definitely did not want to be face to face with 'the plastics' as she decided to label them.

"i always forgot how similar you and robby were." johnny sighed. "every time you came to visit the states when you were younger, you and robby were joint at the hip." he laughed, looking at eloise, who too had a smile on her face, the two reminiscing over the past. "you two literally couldn't disagree on anything, real pain in the asses you two were." he joked.

"remember the time you and my dad tried making me and robby argue over a game of cluedo?" eloise asked, watching as the man chuckled as he thought back to the time himself and patrick wanted to test the friendship of their eight year old children.

"we made bets that you'd slap robby in the face, well i did anyways, your dad bet that you wouldn't." johnny began. "so when we tried making you argue over that game, it was all for the sake of twenty dollars — but nobody expected you two to find out that we were tryna' make you argue and join forces against us." he laughed.
