i had incorporated watching y/n's weekly vlogs in my routine while i ate. it was nice to see what she was up to in her perspective instead of imagining it myself when she updates me about her day.

all i could do was count down the days until she came back.

and the days until i asked her to be mine.

after i ate, i washed the dishes, and then called
y/n. this was my usual routine. i'd eat while watching her vlogs, do dishes, call her. it was a routine i'd grown comfortable with. a routine i'd be lucky to continue on with. i hoped it could stay this way.

since it was around 7pm there, i decided to text her first to ask if it was okay if i called her since i remembered she had dinner with her parents tonight.

Y/N POV

i put my phone away and smiled. "was that him?" my mom asked. "yeah it was, he was just checking in on me. he says hi" i said. "he seems like a nice boy" my dad said. "yeah he is, i hope you guys will get the chance to meet him" i cut into my steak.

"he plays volleyball right?" he asked. "yeah, he's really good at it too" i said. "i've seen him on tv, he has quite the presence" my mom said. "yup" i sighed.

after dinner i was drove home, taking the backroads to extend the drive.

my parents and i never really had a great relationship. they were always away when i was young and left me with the maids. it's one of the things that drove my older brother away.

i remember when i was eight and they were arguing again. he was sixteen and in his rebellious phase, not wanting to follow in my parents footsteps.
