Y/N POV

it had been a week since atsumu and i got back together, and we were still keeping it on the down low. not even soft launching each other on social media.

he had a game today, and as much as i would've liked to watch in person, it would've raised too much suspicion, so i settled for watching them online. he promised me that he'd come over as soon as he could.

i noticed that he was playing better than usual, well he always played amazingly, but this game was just a little different.

atsumu always looked so alive when he was playing volleyball. everytime he set the ball there was a twinkle in his eyes that i never failed to notice.

the score was 24-24, which meant it was a deuce. as worn out as atsumu should've been, he looked alive. he looked like he could play on the court forever.

atsumu was up to serve and the tv went silent. i always thought it was silly that he could only serve in complete silence, but whatever floats his boat i guess. his serves never failed to put a smile on my face. i don't even know how someone could hit a ball that hard.

the first serve was untouched, as it made a loud noise in the gym. loud enough that i could hear it from the tv.

his second serve was still amazing, but was returned by the other teams libero. their setter quickly did a quick, but inunaki was able to receive it with ease.

i briefly remember a conversation where he said he hated serve receive, even though he was a libero.

the ball went to atsumu, and i could notice he was thinking hard about who to set the ball to. in the end he set it to sakusa, who hit the ball hard, securing them their victory.

after the game, the tv switched to their press conference. i mostly zoned out, going on my phone until one particular question that caught my attention. "you seemed to be on your a-game today, did anything change in your pregame routine?" a reporter asked.

"well i hung out with someone special today, so that put me in a good mood" he said.

even though what he said could have been true, i knew it was only for views. atsumu told me that his coach told him that ticket sales were lacking, which i found hard to believe considering the stadium was almost always full.

because of that, his coach told him to say something in hopes of getting more people to buy tickets. and i guess this was his way of playing people into paying money.

i left the conference on as i went to the kitchen to finish cooking dinner.

atsumu and i had the place to ourselves since keiko was staying at his place with suna, and hana was going out with some friends.

i decided to make something quick as i was sure atsumu would be starving by the time he got to my place. the conference finally finished, which meant he would be here soon. i turned off the tv and put on some music instead.

just as the rice cooker finished, i heard someone open the door. "hey babe, i'm here!" i heard a voice yell out. "give me a second!" i quickly washed my hands and rushed out of the kitchen. "hi! congrats on your win babe" i said, quickly giving him a hug and a kiss.

"thanks sweetheart!" he grinned. "i'm gonna go shower, i probably stink right now" he said, picking up his bag. "yeah you do stinky, get away from me" i said, pushing his body to the washroom.

after we both settle we down from dinner, we had a movie marathon. mostly consisting of disney movies since we were both too pussy to watch horror movies.
