"Ravenpaw! Winterpaw!" Ravenpaw heard Foxstar call his name. He rushed out of the apprentice den. It was a full moon, and he had been sleeping in anticipation for the gathering. He was sure he'd go this time.
It had been a half moon since Winterpaw attacked him. He didn't talk to her at all since then, and she gave him looks of disgust. It seemed like everyone is against him now.
"Winterpaw, you will be staying here, with Dazzlepaw. Ravenpaw and Flamepaw shall go." Winterpaw glared at Ravenpaw, but nodded and padded away.
Ravenpaw was excited. Even if he couldn't go with Winterpaw, that didn't matter. He was going to the gathering, and go Fourtrees.

Ravenpaw was sitting next to Hornetclaw, waiting. He saw Deathstar, a big, dark gray tabby tom with dark blue eyes and a white chest, underbelly, muzzle, and tail tip, sitting next to Foxstar on a branch in one of the four trees of Fourtrees.
Ravenpaw then saw Deathstar sit up to speak.
"We have scented FoxClan in our territory." Deathstar turned to Foxstar. "Care to explain?"
Foxstar looked at him calmly. "Flamepaw has been visiting your medicine apprentice, Bananapaw, for unknown reasons." He glared down at Flamepaw, Deathstar following his gaze at the young scrawny tom.
Flamepaw glared back up at him, as all eyes landed on him. Foxstar spoke once more. "We have all warrior eyes on himx to make sure he doesn't do such things anymore. Of course, we wouldn't want half clan kits, would we?"
Deathstar glared at him. "What are you implying, hm?"
"Oh, nothing your simple brain can handle," Foxstar said before standing up and speaking.
"Our deputy, Lionfern, has been ambushed by foxes, and has died. Our new deputy has been chosen as Voleclaw."
DeathClan looked over at Voleclaw, who was sitting with Icestorm, the DeathClan deputy.
Ravenpaw could see the pride in her eyes and she got her name cheered. "Voleclaw! Voleclaw! Voleclaw!"
Deathstar rolled his eyes. He jumped down from the branch, leading his clan away without word. Foxstar did the same.
