Hayden and his aunt Janet quickly made his way through the wide hallways and into the hospital room, with his friends Dayvon, Durk and Terrell, his mom seated in the chairs. A wave of anxiousness washed over him quickly, his heart beating out of his chest.

Taurus was laid in the hospital bed with his raspy groans in pain, the incessant beeping from the ICU monitor and the  seated himself in the chair, his eyes landed on his boyfriend.

They found him lying on a hospital bed, bruised and battered, but alive. Relief washed over Hayden as he approached Taurus, who weakly smiled at him.

The incessant beeping from the ICU monitor made him feel helpless, it prickled at him like a bug buzzing in his ear.

"Hey, babe," Taurus whispered, his voice hoarse from the ordeal.

Hayden took Taurus's hand in his, squeezing it gently. "I'm so sorry this happened to you. Who did this to you?"

"It was one nigga named Jordan, but Corrine just stood there and watched it happen.." Taurus confessed softly, coughing a bit.

Hayden's grip tightened on Taurus's hand, his breathing picked up and exhaled through his nose. Thoughts swirling in his mind, he wanted revenge on the woman who almost took his boyfriend away from him.

"You must be Hayden right? My son's boyfriend," His mom spoke up, smiling at him.

Their eyes connected at the same time, smiling nervously, "Hayden, this is my Mom Teresa," he introduced, and his aunt Janet smiled back.

Hayden nodded, returning the smile. "Nice to meet you, Teresa and this is my aunt Janet. Thank you for being here with us."

Teresa reached out and hugged Hayden tightly, whispering, "Thank you for being here for my son. He means the world to me."

Janet patted Hayden on the back, offering him support. "We're all here for Taurus. But that girl is no good,"

As they sat in the hospital room, Taurus recounted the events that led to his hospitalization. Hayden listened intently, his heart breaking with each detail. He believed Corrine would hurt his boyfriend like this.
