After Lauren left last night, I couldn't sleep. This whole stalker thing is getting to me hard and all I want is to tell Lauren about it. He left another note today, even.

Do I need to take care of him too?

I'm assuming the note was about my brother, since I called him last night. This means he would've been watching me call him and listening in on our conversation. That scares me so much, because my cars aren't even safe now. He can listen in on every conversation I have. I turn the note over, a picture of my brothers head in front of his books appear. This has gone on far enough, it isn't child's play anymore. I have to tell someone, I feel like I'm gonna burst open from so many secrets. My life shouldn't be this way, I never imagined this happening to me.

That's it, I'm telling her. I stride over to Lauren ready to spill everything when I see Joe? What is he doing here, I think. Why is he staring at me as if he knows what is wrong? What is going on?

I walk up to Lauren, breaking eye contact with Joe. "Hey, Lauren." I then turn at Joe. "Hey, Joe. What are you doing here?"

"Dad's coming over later to get the rest of his stuff, so I was just telling Lauren she should probably spend the night with you to be safe because they're more than likely going to be fighting." Yes, I thought to myself, perfect opportunity.

"Sounds good to me." I smile. He smiles back at me.

"Well, I guess I should head back to the apartment, I think Nick wants to hang out while he studies." He says, his aura gives me the creeps right now and I wish I knew why. He looks at me a little longer than he looks at Lauren, but eventually tells us goodbye and walks away towards the doors.

Lauren and I part ways to finish our day at school and say we'll see each other after school and walk home together, as we usually do.
