Later in the day, at around noon, you walked with Serena as she held Medusa's head.

Serena: You really can't help but fight women can you.

Y/N: It's not my fault. She came at me, so she's gonna get worked.

Serena: What kind of weapon are you gonna use against her? A sword?

Medusa: A sssssspear?

Serena: Magic?

Y/N: Hmm, I know how to use every weapon. She will most likely wither use a spear or a trident. I will let the Fates guide my hand and destroy her.

You arrive at the beach seeing Theo with the other daughters of Artemis. You met eyes with her as Serena helps you get suited up.

Serena: You sure you want to do this?

Y/N: Very sure. Now, let me do this properly.

You take up a wooden sword as the two of you approach one another. You hear whispers in the crowd, saying how she was going to absolutely destroy you. Not that you could blame them, she probably had some god powers hidden up her sleeve.

As you both stand in front of one another, her energy shifts since the other day. She seemed more serious than the other day. As you stare at her, you both turn to see Artemis making her way to the middle of the beach, standing over the two of you.

Artemis: Well, this took longer than I thought. I expect to see a show between you two. I am supposed to remain neutral, but we all know who I favor. Theo, Son of Nyx. Wait for my signal.

You take a deep breath as you remove your glasses, revealing your dark eyes. This makes Theo recoil a bit. A very off-putting look you had. The moon in your pupils, and the night sky as the rest.

Artemis makes her way some distance back as she speaks to the other demigods.

Artemis: Good afternoon, everyone! I know this is a surprise to most, but here we are! Theo, the daughter of Posiedon, a member of the Daughters of Artemis, against the Son of Nyx. Now we shall-

Y/N: Nah! Hold the hell up, I'm not letting some bitchy petty god introduce me! I'll do it my damn self!

This outburst surprised Artemis as she just clenched her hand tightly.

You cough, turning to everyone else.

Y/N: I am (Y/N) Nightingale, Son of Nyx! A demi-primordial! Wielder of Medusa's head and her BFF, not afraid to say it either, a student of Hecate! Also, someone with a better moral compass than the Goddess of the Hunt it seems. Now, start it!

You see the crowd say a bunch if mixed comments. The daughters of Artemis are clearly not so happy with you. Looks like Serena was your only female friend here forever.

Artemis:.... Okay, anyway, you may begin!

Theo takes her wooden spear, spinning it as she takes her stance.

You noticed the fighting area had you and her angled towards the shallow parts of the water. She had the advantage, especially because your magic would be most effective at night for what bit you knew.

Theo charged you, jabbing at you with the spear. You ducked under her strike, but she did not relent.

She quickly went for a sweep, striking at your feet as you couldn't help but be surprised at her sudden shift for today.

You swipe at her with your blade, but she ducks your strike, jabbing you in the side, forcing you back some. But you catch yourself gasping a bit from the strike.
