The Chimera sniffs the air for the others. Harper hides in the brush the tree line with Theo and Kate while Serena hides behind a tree with an unconscious Xavier.
While Audrey readies her spear. Serena grabs her arm to stop her from acting too hasty.
Serena: No, we need a plan of attack.
Audrey: I have a plan. Attack.
She rushes in with her spear as the most head notices her, letting out a loud shriek of a scream as it makes everyone cover their ears from the noise.
While she is stunned, the snake rushes in to bite her, but Serena acts quickly, blasting the snake back with her own witch fire.
Harper goes to aid, hanging upside down from a tree branch by his leg as he shoots off an arrow to divide the beasts attention.
Harper: Theo, you wanna lend a hand. As much as I hate working with Artemis' huntresses, we need to do this.
She nods, taking out her trident and leaping down onto the beast, but the goat sees her as the beast stands on its hind legs, slapping her into a tree.
The lion head turns to Serena and Audrey, blasting the two with fire as Serena pulls Audrey out of the way. Kate watches from the tree line, too afraid to move and lend aid.
Time seems to slow down around her as she sees everyone fighting.
Harper leaps to the ground, focusing his efforts on aiming, only to trip and miss his arrow over Serena and Audrey.
Audrey: Hey! We are kind of busy right now!
Harper: Well then, stay out of the damn way!
The snake focuses on Theo, spiting its poison at her as she rushes out of the way. Barely evades the venom as she hides behind a tree to better avoid it. The goat lets out another cry, making everyone cover their ears.
The cry forces Xavier's eyes open as he sits up, holding his head from the screaming.
Xavier: Son of a bitch! Where the hell?
He peaks his head over the brush to see Harper and the others fighting the Chimera. The beast readying to blast more flames, but in a quick swing of his blade, he throws it as it flies through the air, slashing out the Lion's eye.
It cries in pain as Harper quickly shoots the goat head in the neck.
The beast stands on its hind legs as it fires more flames at the group. As it pushes them back. Serena hitting the tree in a daze as her grimoire flies off of her hip.
It stops until you step on it to stop it.
You and Penelope arrive in time as Penelope seems her sister paralyzed with fear so she rushes up to the trees to help her as you grab the book, rushing over to Serena.
Y/N: Serena.
Serena: (Y/N), where have you been?
Y/N: I was making a plan, and I have one.
Serena hugs you tightly as you help her stand up.
You lightly hug her back.
Serena: So what's the plan?
You look to see the situation as you quickly turn back to Serena.
Y/N: Okay, quick. You house your magic, you and I are gonna focus the goat head.
You toss her Grimoire to her as you rush in, grabbing and tackling Harper and Audrey out of the way as Xavier's sword flies in, slashing the Lion's face.
