Your eyes soon open to the light from the sun peaking into your room. Looking over at Medusa, sound asleep. You caress her face lightly, planting a kiss on her cheek before getting out of bed. You still had some time before the hunt, so you decided to get ready for the day.

Y/N: Medusa. It's morning time.

Medusa: Mmm, good morning, my love.~

You pick her head up, sharing a small kiss as you make your way up the stairs.

Y/N: We've got time, so let's get freshened up.

You make your way with your disembodied lover up the stairs to the upper floor to get ready.

From the darkness in the corner of your room, a pair of violet eyes breaches the veil, stepping out as a goddess with black wings fully taken form.

Eris: 'Good to see Zeus didn't do anything to harm him.'

Eris walks around your home a bit, taking in the surrounding area.

Eris: 'Such a small place he lives in. A mix of traditional Greek architecture and modern appliances.'

As she looks around, she eventually finds your Grimoire. Opening it to find it only has one page inside upon reading it.

Eris: 'In a short time, he has learned basic magics. I think he can handle something more his speed.'

Eris remembers speaking with Hecate, begging her to teach her some magic to assist in her more "destructive" acts of strife, when in reality, she didn't need it. She was just greedy. Of course, Hecate refused.

Eris: 'He's lucky to have a sister like me.'

Putting a page into the book. This page was something Eris felt would kick start your magics.

Eris: 'Surely Hecate won't notice a page missing from one of her black books.'

Inserting a page into the Grimoire lightly closing it and placing a kiss on the cover. Her ears perk up just in time to hear you on the way down. Vanishing from sight.

Y/N: Hmm, there we go.

You walk down, holding Medusa close to your chest.

Y/N: So what should I do until the hunt?

Medusa: Maybe practice sssstrategies on how to best hunt the creature.

Y/N: Yeah, but I have no idea what the beast will be the target for the hunt. It will be stronger than normal. Maybe a boar, or a bear. Or possibly a wolf. I am curious. It has to be a predator of the such.

Your eyes land on your Grimoire. You didn't recall leaving it there at all. Taking the book into your grasp, you felt a strange energy from the book. It felt off, so you decided to open the book to see an unfamiliar page inside.

Y/N: This is weird.

Medusa: What'sssss wrong?

Y/N: My grimoire has another page, but I didn't learn anything for it to manifest. Serena said more would add as I learned spells. But I haven't learned these.

You go over the page, seeing the symbols and methods of the magic.

Y/N: This is so much easier. It's magic that is labeled as black magic, but the material components it needs to cast are only one thing. Blood.

Medusa: Are you certain?

Y/N: Why else would it be in my book? I could barely grasp the spells Serena knew, but this. This changes everything. I am going to study this as much as I can before the hunt later today.
