How the fuck could Ari act normal after what happened?
How could anyone act normal after killing someone? It's one thing to think about the possibility of doing it, but once you actually do it? It's scarring. And the guilt or feeling of constantly having blood on your hands makes you feel dirty, filthy, disgusting.
Cornelius was acting strange, somewhat distancing himself from Ari. And due to this their training was 'put on pause' so that they could have time to themselves. Even then the hart was nice enough to try talking to her, conversations were stale though. Bordering on awkward because they wouldn't know what to say after six sentences.
It just felt like the friendship between them was dying and ultimately going away with each passing day.
And with each passing day, Ari felt like she was getting closer and closer to the edge giving up.
