In the private jet

Here’s a revised version of the text, with a more polished and narrative style:

---

“Papa, you look pitty,” little Vedikaa said, staring intently at her father. Here she was, sitting on the jet, clearly bored. To remedy this, Dhruv had suggested she "torture" her papa—in her words, that meant playing with his hair. And Abhiansh, being the doting father he was, couldn’t resist her puppy eyes. He had given in without a fight, letting her have her way.

Now, Abhiansh sat in front of a small mirror, a mournful pout on his lips as he took in his reflection: two tiny ponytails sprouting from his hair. Dhruv and Veer burst into laughter the moment they laid eyes on him. He shot them a death glare, but it didn’t do much to stop their uproarious reaction.

“Papa, you no like it?” Vedikaa’s small face scrunched into a frown as she gazed up at him, confusion marring her delicate features.

Shaking his head quickly, Abhiansh softened. “No, princess, not at all. I love it,” he assured her, gathering her up into his lap and pressing a kiss to her forehead.

“Then why Ruv and Vee laugh?” she asked, glancing over at them, clearly still not understanding why they found it so funny. Abhiansh’s glare grew even more menacing as he turned back to the two offenders, then turned his attention back to his daughter.

“They’re just idiots, baby. Don’t worry, I’ll send them to the asylum soon.”

Vedikaa blinked, puzzled. “But pagal people go asi—asl…” she struggled with the word.

“Asylum,” he corrected gently.

“Yes, that. Are they pagal people, Papa?” she asked, pointing at Dhruv and Veer with wide, innocent eyes. The two men gasped in mock horror at her accusation, while the others in the jet chuckled. Only Aradhya remained indifferent, focused on something else entirely, while Sayantika rolled her eyes and shook her head at the father-daughter duo’s antics.

“Exactly! They are, baby.” Abhiansh’s words only deepened the glares aimed at him.

“Hawww, Papa, we shouldn’t stay with them, na?” Vedikaa declared seriously.

“Yea, baby,” Abhiansh agreed, holding her tighter against his chest, as if shielding her from the ‘pagals’ she had just branded. Dhruv, unable to stay quiet any longer, stood up and approached the little girl.

“I’m hurt, darling. How could you say that to me? You really believe this Papa of yours?” Dhruv clutched his chest dramatically, his expression a mask of exaggerated pain.

“Yes!” she replied without a moment’s hesitation, nodding her head emphatically. Her unwavering response made Abhiansh burst out laughing.

“I am hurt,” Dhruv repeated, wiping away imaginary tears. Vedikaa’s frown deepened, and she turned back to her father.
