Abhiansh paced back and forth, glancing at his watch every few seconds. The wait was dragging, and his patience was wearing thin. "Kab ayega ye?" he muttered to himself, frustration seeping into his voice as he checked the time yet again.
Finally, after what felt like an eternity, he saw Dhruv dragging himself toward the house, his shoulders slumped, eyes half-closed, and a yawn escaping his lips every other step. Abhiansh couldn’t help but smile sheepishly, knowing exactly how tired his friend must be. As Dhruv approached, he glared at Abhiansh through sleepy, half-lidded eyes.
"You yawn better yawn have yawn some yawn good yawn reason yawn for this," Dhruv mumbled in between yawns, barely able to keep his eyes open.
Abhiansh cleared his throat, nervously scanning the surroundings. Satisfied that no one was around, he quickly grabbed Dhruv by the arm and dragged him inside the house. Dhruv, practically sleepwalking, didn’t even resist as he was led to the guest room.
The moment Dhruv’s body touched the bed, he collapsed onto it, face down, without another word.
Abhiansh blinked in disbelief. "To ab sun... wo hua ye ki—" But he stopped mid-sentence, realizing that Dhruv was already snoring loudly. His eyes widened as he stared at his friend, who had fallen asleep almost instantly.
"Yeh itni jaldi so bhi gaya? Nobita se training le raha hai kya?" Abhiansh muttered to himself, shaking his head. He glanced at the clock—it was 5 AM. Letting Dhruv sleep a bit longer, his eyes fell on the packet lying beside Dhruv’s limp form. A grin spread across his face as he carefully picked it up and peeked inside.
His grin widened when he saw the bangles, exactly as he had envisioned them. The intricate design was perfect, and as he imagined Sayantika wearing them, his heart swelled with excitement. She would look like a goddess. These bangles were made for her.
With a chuckle, he gently placed the bangles back in the packet and set it aside. He made a mental note to ask Dhruv for the price later. For now, he had other plans—like heading to the gym.

By 8 AM, the house was buzzing with activity. Meera was setting the table with Sayantika’s help, while Vedikaa was engrossed in playing with Abhiansh’s phone. Abhiansh descended the stairs, followed by a lethargic Dhruv, who was dragging his feet, still not fully awake.
Meera glanced up and frowned in surprise. “Arre, Dhruv? Tum kab aaye, beta?” she asked, her tone warm and motherly.
Hearing Meera’s voice, Sayantika also turned to look, her eyes briefly locking with Dhruv’s as he offered a half-hearted wave.
“Kuch time pehle hi aunty,” Dhruv replied, moving toward her and bending down to touch her feet. “Aap meri baat chhodiye, aur bataiye, aap kaise ho?”
