As Abhiansh lay in the quiet embrace of sleep, a sudden, sharp sensation prickled his cheek, jolting him awake. Startled, he shot up, his heart pounding, but his breath caught when his gaze fell upon the small creature perched on his chest. His initial alarm faded, and his eyes softened,
"Good morning, Papaaaaa!" she chirped, her face lit up with a mischievous grin. Before Abhiansh could respond, she playfully nipped at his cheek once more, drawing out a warm, hearty laugh from him. Her cheeky antics were impossible to resist.
"Bohot accha tarika hai, papa ko uthane ka, kyu baccha?" he remarked, his gaze softening as he looked at her with a fond smile. Vedikaa giggled in response, her eyes twinkling with mischief, and nodded enthusiastically, proud of her playful success.
"Papa, bath me!" she exclaimed, stretching both hands toward him in an eager gesture. Abhiansh chuckled, leaning down to pinch her cheeks with affection. "Sure baccha," he replied softly, lifting her up into his arms. With her securely nestled against him, he stepped down from the bed, and together they made their way towards the bathroom.
Abhiansh gentaly set her down on the bathroom tiles, his hands reaching to unbuttoned her tiny dress, but he paused and then looked at her who was already staring at him with her doe eyes
"Baccha, can I unbuttoned your dress,or you want mumma sweetheart" He asked her gentaly,
"No paapaa, you only" She response, and clunched his t-shirt, making it clear that no one else would do.
Abhiansh chuckled softly, nodding his head at her stubborn little demand. With a gentle touch,he carefully helped her out of the clothes.once she was free from the fabric,he gently placed her into the bathtub, her tiny feet splashing lightly in the water, grabbing the sope he gently started to wash her with lukewarm water
"Papa," her soft voice broke through the gentle splashes of water.
"Haan beta," he replied, looking up from the task at hand.
"You will not leave us, right, papaa?" Her innocent question hung in the air, making him pause. His heart tightened as he looked up at her, seeing the quiet vulnerability in her eyes.
"Kabhi nahi baccha," he said softly, his voice steady, "aap aur aapki mummi ke liye hi toh main saans leta hu." A tender smile spread across his face as he reassured her, his gaze filled with all the love and devotion he held for his family.
After a while, once she was clean, Abhiansh gently wiped her small body and damp hair with a soft towel. He wrapped her snugly in the towel, cocooning her warmth, then carefully draped another towel over her head, swaddling her long, wet hair. The sight of her bundled up, peeking out from beneath the towels, made him smile a picture of innocence wrapped in tenderness.
"Let's go, my love," he said softly, lifting her into his arms with a tender smile. As he carried her out of the bathtub, she nestled against him, her little body warm and secure. The warmth of the moment enveloped them both as they stepped out the bathroom.
As he entered the room, his eyes found Sayantika, busy arranging the bed with a graceful efficiency. She glanced up, and her gaze shifted from him to Vedikaa, whose face peeked out shyly from beneath the layers of towels.
A melodic laugh escaped Sayantika's lips, brightening the room, and in response, a soft smile bloomed on Abhiansh's face. The warmth of her laughter filled the air, wrapping around them like a cozy embrace, as he cherished the beauty infront of him.
"Mumma, papa bath me today!" Vedikaa exclaimed, her eyes sparkling with excitement. Sayantika smiled warmly and stepped closer, gently lifting her from Abhiansh’s arms. He watched them, a soft smile gracing his lips as he took in the tender exchange.
