As soon as, their car reached the palace, Zamy stormed off from the car. Arhan was fuming with rage, he didn't try to stop Zamy as they both needed time after the disastrous evening. He got out of the car and slammed the car door shut, his jaw clenched in frustration. The date had been a disaster, and he couldn't shake off the irritation gnawing at him. He pulled out his phone and dialed Nooh's number.
Nooh picked up after the third ring, "The number you are trying to call is out of the coverage?"
Arhan's voice was low and tense. "If you don't want to be out of coverage permanently then knock it off Nooh. I need to talk."
Nooh chuckled, sensing his friend's foul mood. "Let me guess, the date didn't go as planned?"
Arhan exhaled sharply. "First of all, it was not a date. And second of all That's an understatement. It was a complete train wreck."
Nooh's laughter rang through the phone. "Oh, this I have to hear. Spill the deets, brother."
Arhan rubbed his temples. "Not over the phone. Meet me at the gym in twenty minutes."
Nooh's tone turned mischievous. "Need to blow off some steam, huh? Fine, I'll be there. But you better be ready to spill all the juicy details."
Arhan ended the call without responding, already regretting inviting Nooh. But he knew he needed to vent, and Nooh was the only one who could handle his wrath.

At the GymArhan was already pounding a punching bag when Nooh walked into the gym, a playful grin on his face. "Well, well, if it isn't Mr. Romantic himself. How was your date with the lovely Zamy?"
Arhan shot him a glare but continued his relentless assault on the bag. "Don't start, Nooh. I'm not in the mood."
Nooh leaned against the wall, arms crossed. "Oh, come on. How bad could it have been? Did you spill soup on her dress or something?"
Arhan paused, his fists still clenched. "Worse......Much worse!! Everything that could go wrong........ did."
Nooh's eyes twinkled with amusement. "Do tell. Did you trip over your own feet? Forget her name? What happened?"
Arhan resumed punching, each hit harder than the last. "It's not funny, Nooh. I was trying to explain myself, to get her to trust me. But I slipped up and said something really stupid."
Nooh's laughter interrupted him. "You? The ever-composed Arhan Mirza? Said something stupid? That's gold!"
Arhan shot him another glare. "Shut your bloody mouth and hear me out, I said, 'I never accept something that's not mine.'"
Nooh's laughter stopped abruptly, his eyes widening. "Oof, that's a rough one. No wonder she stormed out."
Arhan sighed, stopping his assault on the bag. "She felt rejected, like she wasn't wanted. I tried to explain, but she wouldn't listen. She thinks I came between her and Ibrahim."
Nooh shook his head, still chuckling slightly. "Man, you really know how to dig a hole for yourself, don't you?"
Arhan moved to the weights, lifting them with renewed vigor. "I don't need your jokes right now, Nooh. I just need to work out."
Nooh followed him, not missing a beat. "Oh, come on. You love my jokes. Besides, I'm your best friend. It's my job to make you see the humor in these situations."
Arhan didn't respond, focusing on his reps. Nooh leaned against the equipment, watching him. "You know, if she makes you this crazy, maybe she's worth the effort."
