Many Days Passed after That Night.... The night when he turned to my door... The night when I saw vulnerability in his Eyes... For once I thought that May be, Just may be my Allah taala gave me the fruit of my patience..... But I guess I have to wait more.... Wait more to Get something in return for the price I paid with my dearest Ahad... Sometimes I do  Question Why did It end up Like this... And it feels like I'm Just Stuck in this  never ending loop... Where I'm just going back and Forth..

I woke up and took a bath..  Got Ready for the day, I prayed Fajr and Continued my Qur'an Recitation.. After sometime I went downstairs for the Breakfast

He's been ignoring me since that night... He doesn't look in my Direction, And He Doesn't sit beside me as he used to do in the dining hall... After Breakfast I got ready to go To the Hospital, While getting downstairs my Gaze fell upon  the family photos lining the walls. Each picture captured moments of joy and unity, a stark contrast to the churning chaos in my heart.

“ZamZam?” Amna aunty was approaching me with a gentle smile, her presence radiating warmth. She moved gracefully, her movements as calming as a soft breeze on a sweltering day. “Can we talk?”

I nodded, feeling the weight of her gaze. She took a seat across from me at the plush Sofa of Living room, her expression a mixture of concern and compassion. “I know things have been… difficult lately between you and Arhan,” she began, choosing her words carefully. “But I need you to understand something important.”

“What is it, Aunty?” I replied, my voice barely above a whisper. The reality of my situation loomed large, and I felt a familiar ache in my chest.

“I’ve watched my son since you came into his life. He’s not the easiest person to get close to,” Amna said, her eyes searching for mine. “But I’ve seen glimpses of a different Arhan around you. A softer side. He cares for you, ZamZam. I truly believe that.”

Her words hit me like a wave crashing against the shore, bringing both hope and doubt. “But he’s been so distant,” I said, my voice shaking slightly. “Every time I try to get through to him, he pushes me away. It’s like he’s afraid… afraid of something.”

Amna leaned forward, her expression earnest. “Arhan has always been guarded. He feels the weight of his responsibilities, and that often makes him close off from others. But you… you’re different. You bring something out in him that I haven’t seen in years.”

I looked down at my hands, “I don’t want to be a burden to him, Aunty. He didn’t want this marriage. I can see it in his eyes, every time he looks at me. I don’t want to force him into anything.”

Amna reached out, her hand gently resting on mine. “Marriage is not just about love, dear. It’s about companionship and understanding. Allah chose you both to be together so He certainly have something good planned for you both, trust Him Zamy.. I’ve seen how he watches you when he thinks no one is looking. There’s something there, something that could grow if he lets it.”

I asked doubtfully “But what if I’m just holding onto a fantasy? What if he never sees me that way?”

“Sometimes, it takes time for feelings to blossom, especially for someone like Arhan,” Amna aunty  replied, her voice steady. “He may not show it, but beneath that tough exterior, he has a heart that cares deeply. Give him time. Show him that you’re not a threat, that you can be his partner.”
