"Babysitting?" Vienna echoed Mike's protest.
"Why do you guys sound so upset?" I asked my two wide eyed friends.
Mike, Vienna, and I were lounging in my living room. Today's small fundraising project was indeed babysitting. Finn, Shay, and Tyler weren't able to make it unfortunately, so that left the Robinson triplets to me, Mike, and Vienna.
Joy.
No really, I like kids, but I would have been lying if I said I wasn't just a little worried about triplets.
"Well, I have two little sisters, and they're a handful themselves...So I can't imagine three 6 year old boys...yeesh..." Vienna rubbed her temples.
"We'll be fine! I think three high school seniors can handle a bunch of brats," Mike casually waved his hand.

"No, no, no, Josh! Get down from the dresser!" Vienna yelled, while tripping on a bucket of legos.
Mike was trying to get Patrick's head from between the stair's railing. He had a jar of grape jelly next to him as he dipped his hand in it and wiped the sticky jelly all over the poor kid's head, trying to slip his head out of the tight grip. I wondered how he managed to get it there in the first place...
I thought the grape jelly was a unique choice...most people would have used butter or something, but not Mike.
What was I doing? Well, I was trying to fetch Gordon, the third of the bunch, from the refrigerator. He got his Buzz Lightyear blanket and wrapped it around himself, and then somehow managed to climb into the refrigerator and close the door.
The unfortunate thing was, this family had one of those new, enormous refrigerators, and Gordon took it upon himself to get in the very back.
"Gordon Robinson, I am going to call your parents if you don't get out of there right now!" I warned, reaching as far as I could.
"No! I need to go to Narnia, Jade!" he whined.
"Gordon, Narnia isn't in the back of a refrigerator!"
"Yes it is!" he scolded, revealing come of his disgruntled face from under the blanket, his teeth chattering.
"Mike! I need help!" I huffed, walking back into the living room.
"You know what? Screw this!" I heard Mike say. I walked in just in time to see him kick the peg of the railing, breaking the peg in half, successfully freeing Patrick's jelly covered head.
"MIKE! That's going to come out of our payment!" I whined.
He shrugged. "Better than the kid being stuck all night," he laughed, assessing the broken peg. "Anyways, what's up?" he asked. I gestured for him to follow me into the kitchen.
"Well, Gordon had the wise idea to get into the refrigerator because he believed he'd find Narnia..."
"Isn't Narnia through a wardrobe?" Mike raised an eyebrow.
