Ring. Ring. Ring.
I sleepily roll over and answer the phone. "Hello," I say.
"Good morning Alpha Kai. This Micheal just giving you a courtesy wake-up call. You have your meeting with the Alpha King in one hour." he reminds me.
"Okay. Can you bring me some coffee with two bacon egg and cheese bagel sandwiches and a glass of water?" I ask.
"Of course. I'll bring it straight away" he answered.
"Thanks," I say before hanging up the phone.
I had just fallen back to sleep when a knock on my door snapped me awake.
I got up and opened the door. It was Michael with my breakfast.
"Just set it on the table over there," I tell him.
He does so and then leaves my room.
I sit and eat while checking my phone for any text messages or emails.
Once done I get ready for the meeting. I brush my teeth wash, my face, and run a comb through my hair real quick. Put some deodorant on and a small squirt of my cologne before I put on a black dress shirt with black dress pants, and you guessed it, black dress shoes. I check the time and it says 8:55 am. I inspect myself in the mirror. Pleased with my appearance I leave my room and find Michael outside my door waiting to escort me to see the Alpha King.

Michael stops in front of two large doors that have two guards posted outside of them. He knocks twice and a voice from the other side tells us to enter. The guards open them to reveal the Alpha King sitting at a very large desk.
"Ah, Alpha Silivius. It's great to see you again," the Alpha King greets as he stands from his chair.
I bow and say, "It's great to see you as well, Your Majesty."
"Come, sit," he says.
I immediately obey.
"Now, to the matter at hand," he starts. "The reason I requested your presence."
"Yes, what can I do for you," I say.
"Well, it was brought to my attention that you have yet to find your mate," he explains.
"Yes, Your Majesty," I confirm.
"An Alpha needs his Luna. A pack's well-being depends on it," he goes on.
"Yes, Your Majesty," I agree.
"I will be arranging a marriage for you if you do not find a mate by your 25th birthday," the Alpha King declares. "I can not risk the most powerful pack in the world falling apart."
"I understand, Your Majesty. Whatever you wish is my command," I tell him honestly. He is the Alpha King after all. I cannot disobey him under penalty of death. He kills anyone who disobeys his direct command. I knew this would happen eventually though. Pack's needs a Luna to survive.
I want to find my mate, don't get me wrong but I haven't found her yet. I can't wait too long to find my Luna or my wolf could go crazy or disappear, leaving me to be human.
"Good. Now why don't go enjoy the rest of your stay. We can discuss this more another time." he excuses me with a wave of his hand.
I get up and bow before taking my leave.

I decide to go for a run in my wolf form and head to the forest. It snowed last night so everything is coated in a layer of snow.

I find a tree to hide my clothes in and strip naked. I shift into my wolf relishing the feeling of power that immediately surges through my body. My wolf is white with blue eyes which differ from my brown ones.
I take off running, my wolf happy for the release. We killed three bunnies and a mountain lion. I ended up running for hours before deciding to head back. I find my clothes and shift. As I'm putting my clothes back on I think about what to do tonight. Maybe I'll go out. I'm sure the human town has something fun to do.
"Yes, let's go out." My wolf agrees.
Once back in my room, I check my phone to see what the nightlife is like in Nœra.
The only place that comes up is a nightclub called The Happy Unicorn. Ha funny name.
"Yes. Let's go there!" my wolf exclaims.
My wolf is excited for some reason. In the back of my mind, I think that maybe he knows something that I don't but I dismissed it because I know we both like to dance. - - - -
