Freen had been waiting for this moment for a long time. She feels a tightness in her chest, like everything is being compacted down by a quirk that increases the force of gravity. It's been over a month since she's seen Becky, heard Becky's voice, held her. But none of it matters now, the only thing she cares about is the three of them being together again after what has felt like a genuine eternity.

Whether it's the hormones or not, this last week had been beyond horrible and all she wanted was Becky. She doesn't mind the wait now, she had waited a month, she can wait another few minutes.

Freen wanted to be here to welcome becky, not only her and Lyra, all of their friends also insisted on being here. So here they are in front of the institution waiting for becky to come out any minute. Freen had no idea what to expect. Had becky gotten better? Is she fine? She knew nothing.

"Relax." Nam says to Freen, "She's almost here, and she will be fine."

Freen's eyes are locked on the door, she's been pacing, and checking, and pacing again for nearly an hour... But finally, a flash of brown hair, and her heart slams to a stop against her ribcage, only to leap into an even more frantic rhythm than the one it had beat with before. There she finally sees Becky, vibrant yet tired eyes that she adores the most, and she can't help but grin. Her eyes begin to water, and her body moves on its own before she has any time to think.

Becky is home, she's finally home, and Freen's excitement gets the better of her. She can later blame it on the hormones. She's been waiting over a month to throw her arms around Becky, and as she slams into Becky and wraps her arms around her, Becky stumbles back and grunts. There's a loud thump, whatever Becky was carrying has hit the ground, but Freen doesn't care. She buries her face in Becky's shoulder, squeezing tightly, and her fingers grab at the fabric of Becky's hoodie.

"Welcome back!" Freen sniffles, her voice muffled by the soft, warm fabric her face is enveloped in. Becky too has a wide grin on her face, tears threatening to fall from her eyes as she hugs Freen back, gingerly wrapping her own arms around Freen. Freen's hair tickles her nose as she tilts her head to kiss the top of Freen's head, but then her eyes goes to Lyra, who has leapt up from the ground and is jogging over to them.

She keeps an arm on Freen, but she makes room for Lyra to slide in and join the hug. Lyra doesn't miss a beat, joining the two of them. "We missed you!" Lyra says cheerfully.

Becky's eyes then scan the crowd of people, who all have equal smiles on their faces. She feels grateful to have all of them by her side. She gives them a smile and a nod, acknowledging them, silently thanking them for being there.

The three of them are back together again after far too long apart.

"This isn't awful, but get off me," Becky mumbles, looking around to see that people are beginning to stare. "We can get the lovey-dovey shit over with at home," she adds jokingly, a whisper.

"Asshole." Freen elbowed her in the ribs, laughing.

Becky reaches down to grab the duffel bag that she had dropped earlier but a hand on her's stops her movement. Becky looks up to see Freen grinning widely at her.

Becky frowned looking at Freen in confusion who then took a knee. Then she began to realize.

"Freen? Freen, what are you doing? Stand up....Oh...Oh my god...." Becky blushed furiously.

Becky stared in shock upon realizing what is happening. She had wanted this for so long. But it never felt like Freen would ever want to marry again. And she was starting to accept that. But now that it's finally happening, Becky didn't know how to act or feel.

"Life is short and can be taken from us at any time but that's why we should make the most of what we have now, right? So I'm not going to be held hostage no longer by my past. I love you so much, you have given me more than I ever thought I would have. I know I have settled for forever with someone before. But I also think that there is someone for everyone. And you are that someone for me. You are my forever. I want to spend the rest of our lives together. So Rebecca Armstrong will you marry me?" Freen pulled the ring out of her pocket with shaking hands; she looked Becky in the eye to see her trying to hold back tears.

Becky looked between Freen and the ring, staying frozen on the spot.

"-ky? Please say something, baby."

"Oh. Oh! No! I mean yes! Yes! Of course I'll marry you, Freen! I love you so much!"

"I love you too, Bec!"

Becky holds out her hand, ignoring the shake in it as Freen takes it gently, slipping the band onto her finger.

Becky wrapped her arms around Freen's neck and pulled her in for a passionate kiss. They could hear loud cheers from their friends.

"Can I say something?" Becky asks as she pulls back.

Freen nods.

"I had no idea, when I met you, how important you were going to be to me, how much you would mean to me. You walked into my life and threw everything upside down and I've never been more grateful for anything in my life. I know we have had our ups and downs. We both made mistakes. But in the end all of it led us to each other. I didn't know that I could love like this, or what it felt like to be loved like this. You've become my home and I would love nothing more than to have you by my side forever."

There's definitely tears in Freen's eyes now as she nods, there's more she wanted to say but she can save that for later.

"It's beautiful," Becky says, the cool metal foreign but it somehow feels right on her hand.

"I spent so long choosing it, I wanted it to be perfect."

"I love you," Becky says, tearing her eyes away from her hand to meet her now fiancée's striking ones. "I love you so much."

Becky leans forward and Freen cups her cheeks, pulling her closer.

"I love you too."

The words are mumbled as soft lips meet hers and Freen sighs into the feeling, of hands slipping into her hair and a body pressing close as the kiss deepens.

In the back of her mind, Freen knows she has something more important to reveal, something that is so crucial to the future they will have together. She can't wait to see the look on Becky's face when she finally tells her that she's gonna be a mother. So she pulls back, looking at Becky with tender eyes, "There something else that I need to tell you."

Becky frowns looking at her in confusion but before Freen could utter another word, the sound of a car approaching draws their attention and it comes to a stop right infront of Becky.
