"I'm pregnant."

Becky stares at Freen for a moment. Then she looks at Freen's hand resting on her stomach. Her gaze bounces between Freen and her hand a few times before her eyes widen. Freen thinks it's finally starting to sink in.

Becky stares for a few seconds before trying to speak. "You're…"

Freen nods slowly as she searches for the right word. "…pregnant, yes," Freen finishes for her.

Becky nods, "How? We thought it didn't work." She collapses into the chair behind her.

Freen rushes to explain, "I thought so too. But I found out late. It was after you left. I wanted to tell you the day you returned, but then everything went wrong, and it never felt like the right time. I'm sorry, Becky."

Becky sits there, frozen in place.

"Please say something," Freen pleads.

Becky raises her head and looks into Freen's eyes. She knows the feeling in her stomach isn't just morning sickness.

"We're going to have a kid?" Becky asks, as if she can hardly believe it. Freen can understand; she can hardly believe it either. It all feels so surreal. Freen nods.

Suddenly, Becky grins. It's her only warning before she practically jumps on Freen, wrapping her arms around her and burying her face in Freen's hair. "Holy shit!! We are going to have a baby," she says, moving from Freen's hair to her shoulder and kissing it lightly. "It tickles." Freen laughs, feeling like she can finally breathe.

"I'm so happy for us, baby!!" Becky whispers, leaning in and kissing Freen over and over.

Richie giggles at Becky's open display of happiness. He clears his throat, breaking the moment. Becky suddenly remembers they are not alone. She pulls back and smiles sheepishly at him.

"You knew?" Becky asks.

"I did. It was me and Nam who went with her to the doctor's appointments." He smirks, "You know what? I'm so glad you're back. I can finally be relieved of the brother-in-law duties. Trust me, it's no fun waiting outside for those appointments, bored out of your mind." They both chuckle.

"Oh my god," Becky repeats, looking at Freen, who playfully slaps her on the arm.

"Okay, I'll stop." Becky smiles. "Did you tell Lyra?"

"No. I wanted us to tell her together." Becky's smile widens as she nods.

Freen's phone suddenly rings, pulling them out of their thoughts. "It's Heng," Freen says before walking out to answer the call.

Richie immediately turns to Becky. "Tell me what you did," he asks, his voice intimidating.

"I didn't do anything."

"Come on, Becca. I didn't start seeing you today. Spill."

Before Becky can reply, Freen rushes back into the room. "Sunny has been reported missing. The police are on the case. His car was left abandoned on the side of the road. No other leads so far." Freen's expression turns to panic. "Becky, what did you do?"
