This was it.
And there was no stopping who was coming.
The light in the room of the convent grew increasingly brighter as a high-pitched ringing was added into the mix - barely audible at first but grew louder as the seconds ticked by forcing the brothers to cover their ears while still under cover by Camryn's wings.
But all of a sudden, the increasing brightness and ringing had just... Stopped.
It's dark and quiet.
The hunters opened their eyes, only to find themselves seated on an airplane full of passengers, who didn't seem to notice that there were three extra passengers on board with them.
Dean met Camryn's greyish-blue gaze, silently conversing whether she had gotten them out of the convent, only for the Nephilim huntress to shake her head slightly.
"What the hell?" The eldest hunter quizzed, confusion laced in his tone.
"I don't know.." Sam responded, equally as confused as his brother and his brother's girlfriend.
"Folks," The voice of the captain echoed over the intercom, grabbing their attention. "quick word from the flight deck. We're just passing over Ilchester, then to Ellicott City where we'll make our initial descent into Baltimore--"
"Ilchester?" Weren't we just there?" The eldest brother questioned, speaking over the pilot's message.
"-- so if you'd like to stretch your legs, now would be a good time to-- Holy crap!"
All of a sudden, the plane had been knocked off kilter as a bright column of light had shot up into the sky.
Camryn's eyes had shot to the window only to see the blinding light shone brightly from the building they'd just occupied below and there was no doubt in her mind that hers and Madelyn's uncle was free.
Lucifer.
Chaos ensued on board the plane as the aircraft had jerked sharply to the right, as the oxygen masks deployed from the ceiling above the screaming passengers.
The hunters immediately put on their oxygen masks as the blinding light had returned once again alongside the high-pitched ringing.
"-- saying it's very unlikely an abandoned convent would be a target for terrorists, either foreign or homegrown."
"Change the station." Dean said, his verdant green gaze trained on the road ahead.
Silently, Sam leaned forward and happily switched the radio station, however, every station that he had changed to were all talking about the exact same thing. With a deep frown settling across his features, the shaggy haired male turned the radio off completely, which left the underlying elephant in the room of what started all of this in the first place.
