After an interesting conversation with Castiel, Dean had left his cabin and was about to make his way back to 2014!Dean's cabin when he noticed that his future self had returned alongside some other soldiers that had climbed out of the Jeep.

Ducking behind the bushes, the hunter watched as the fearless leader grabbed two cans of beers and tossed one over to the soldier before cracking it open to drink. As the soldier took a sip, it was then that 2014!Dean had pulled out his gun and pointed it at him.

"Hey." Dean called out, his eyes widening at the sight as he rushed out. "Hey! Watch out!"

2014!Dean shot the soldier in cold blood as the remaining soldiers stared between them in confusion.

"Damn it." 2014!Dean muttered as he glanced at his past self before he turned to the soldiers and addressed them. "I'm not gonna lie to you. Me and him - it's a pretty messed-up situation we got going. But believe me, when you need to know something, you will know it. Until then, we all have work to do."

Walking towards the hunter, 2014!Dean grabbed hold of his arm and dragged him back to the cabin, shoving him inside and slamming the door shut behind them.

"What the hell was that?" He demanded.

"What the hell was that?" Dean countered. "You just shot a guy in cold blood."

"We were in an open quarantine zone. Got ambushed by some Croats on the way out." 2014!Dean explained and from the expression that settled across his past self's features, he further elaborated. "Croats. Croatoans. One of them infected Yeager."

"How do you know?" The eldest Winchester quizzed.

"Cause after a few years of this, I know. I started seeing symptoms about a half an hour ago. Wasn't gonna be long before he flipped. I didn't see the point in troubling a good man with bad news."

"'Troubling a good man'?" Dean repeated with a scoff. "You just blew him away in front of your own people. Don't you think that freaked them out a little bit?"

"It's 2014. Plugging some Croat, it's called commonplace. Trading words with my friggin' clone - that might have freaked them out a little."

"Alright, look--"

"No, you look." 2014!Dean said with a glare, cutting his past self off in mid-sentence. "This isn't your time. It's mine. You don't make the decisions. I do. So, when I say stay in, you stay in."

"Alright, man." Dean responded in an attempt to diffuse the situation. "I'm sorry. Look, I-I'm not trying to mess you - me - us up here."

The hunter's future self nodded slightly. "I know." He said and poured two glasses of alcohol.

"It's just been a really wacky weekend." The sandy haired male sighed and accepted the drink that his future self had held out to him.

"Tell me about it." 2014!Dean replied and took a sip of the contents in the glass.

"What was the mission, anyway?" Dean asked curiously.

Silently, 2014!Dean reached into his jacket and pulled out a gun, placing it on the table before he looked at his double. "The Colt." He answered simply.

The eldest Winchester arched a brow. "Where was it?" He questioned.

"Everywhere. They've been moving it around. Took me five years, but.. I finally got it. And tonight - tonight, I'm gonna kill the devil."
