Chapter Seven
...

All Might stood outside of the gates to UA he hadn't came back to UA for several months, and seeing his old school brought a warmth to his heart. He had originally came to look for clues to Shoto's disappearance, but now he was here for conscription. Prime Minister Aka had ordered an assault against Reo Yuki, and with all of Japan All Might would lead this army of heroes and finish the fight that had began all those years ago.

He wished he had Shoto, as he had seen the boys' power grow over the years. He was a worthy stand-in for Endeavor's place on the Japanese hero force. Despite his absence, All Might was certain the mission would succeed.

Principal Iwao Oguro, formally known as the high-speed hero O-Clock, had gotten his position in the months following Aka's rise to power. After his daughter's death due to a Tartarus Escapee Aka had promised Oguro a place in shaping the new Era of Peace. For the past two years, Oguro had been planning and training the new generation and allowing those like Shoto Todoroki to rise to the rank of hero. Red Riot, Pinky, Froppy, and Phantom Theif had all risen to the top fifty heroes before graduation with Oguro's new program.

The others were still capable. However, they hadn't reach public popularity due to the decline in villan attacks. Most student heroes helped with rescue missions to those in the north. The snow and frost led to people getting lost quite often so it was normal to send students for weeks at a time to help reinforce the northern front.

Some helped hunt for Reo Yuki, but he was never found until recently due to Aka's intelligence network. All Might wished he could have found him on his own, he didn't want to leave the next generation in Aka's hands, but he knew he didn't have much of a choice.

Oguro stood outside the school's door seemingly waiting for All Might. He was extremely muscular for someone his age, his face one of experience and strength. "You are late, for the number one hero, you sure take your time." Oguro said his tone serious, yet All Might could tell he was joking.

"Let's blame it on traffic." The number one hero said with a cheerful laugh. His booming voice seemed to shake the ground, he had realized that after being given Muscular's quirk he often added more to his vocal cords creating an ability that was similar to Present Mic's. While it wasn't comparable to Present Mic's own power it was still a neat ability for stage presence a much needed aspect to have if one was the symbol of peace.

"Well, traffic or not, the students have been looking forward to seeing you." Oguro said, holding his hand out to shake All Might's hand. On his wrist was a tattoo worn by those who supported Aka, which wasn't surprising to All Might as it was Aka's support groups and the Prime Minister had gotten Oguro the help and position to become the new Principal of UA. His loyalty would always dwell in Aka's palm.

"I look forward to seeing them as well." All Might said his words, honest. He missed being a teacher, and he missed Class 1-A.

Oguro seemed to nod before shifting his gaze to the school's entrance. "I know I've said this before, but I wish she could have seen the new Era you and the Prime Minister created." Oguro said calmly.

All Might knew all too well that Oguro still hadn't forgiven him for the Tartarus disaster. This wasn't a thank you but a reminder that All Might failed to save people that fateful day and that all he did now was only thanks to Aka's help. The death of his daughter was on his hands because of the inability to prevent Tartarus from occurring. The inability to stop the prisoners from crossing Reo Yuki's ice these lay on his shoulders. Izuku was his successor, but the boy had done enough for the world, to All Might burdening him with more would be unfair.

"I'm certain she is pleased with your work." All Might replied calmly yet sincerely. A combination that was both off-putting yet somehow serene, perhaps in his older age he had become less of a wild hero and more of a mature hero. It made All Might wonder what Nezu would say about the man he had become. While he missed Nezu he knew that he wouldn't be happy with the path he had taken. Nezu would have directly opposed Aka and never allowed him to gain the title of Prime Minister.

Yet Nezu was dead and there wasn't a remnant of him left behind besides the school which Oguro had claimed as his own. It made All Might feel a bit bitter towards Oguro, not out of disrespect but out of a feeling of abandonment by Nezu. It was a childish notion that mirrored his feelings about Nana Shimura's passing.

"Pleased." Oguro scoffed a hand running across his chin as he and All Might walked through the halls of UA. "The dead can't be pleased." The resentment showing in both his words and tone. The sounds of his shoes clacking against the floor like a horse running down a brick road. Oguro's pace matched the intensity of his glare, causing All Might to keep his remaining thoughts to himself.

"I've heard promising news about the students." All Might said as they stepped into the central elevator. The buttons glowed a bright yellow with multiple floors for the different grades. The color coding was another thing Nezu would hate about the school, Nezu respected the intelligence of students and he loved to watch them grow. To color code something was to dumb it down and showed a lack of faith.

All Might would bring this up to Oguro but he knew it would just loop back to the death of his daughter, a constant loop like that would just briny about pain and an argument that was more than just easily avoidable. Things were better if he just kept his mouth shut and didn't say a word.

"The popularity of Shoto Todoroki propelled the new generation into the spotlight." Oguro said as the elevator dinged upon reaching the third floor. It's movements were far superior to what All Might had remembered, and it seemed Oguro had looked at Nezu's notes to improve the school.

Oguro led All Might down the hallway of the third year classes. Compared to the first, it was more professional and seemed to be technologically advanced. Standing at the end was Kirishima, who was dressed in his Red Riot outfit. His hair was long and fell down to his shoulders. He stood tall and confident in the face of All Might and Oguro.

"Any news on Shoto?" Kirishima asked, not acknowledging All Might. The students of Class 1-A held a grudge against All Might for the deaths of two of their classmates. To them the Era Of Peace was nice but it wasn't worth the lives of their friends.

"Unfortunately not, however All Might is here to speak with you and the other students." Oguro said, knowing the answer wouldn't satisfy Kirishima. It would just build the rage inside of him, causing him to resent All Might further.

"Yes, Red Riot, your exploits have earned you the admiration of many, but we have found the solution to Japan's eternal winter." All Might said his face a smile despite the look of anger and annoyance that covered Kirishima's face like a warm blanket.

Kirishima glared, his eyes seeming to glow with passion as he spoke the words. "You found Reo Yuki!." The words came out with a shout, causing some teachers to stick their heads out their classrooms. "You can't defeat him alone can you All Might." He added a sly remark to show All Might that he wasn't all that he claimed to be.

All Might seemed disappointed, but he wouldn't lie to Kirishima. "Prime Minister Aka has ordered Japan's best to lead an assault on Reo Yuki and his associates. You and your classmates will travel to his hideout and bring him to justice." All Might explained.

"He can't be allowed to live." Kirishima said, looking at Oguro first. "I won't hold back on scum like him." He added the additional hated spewing out of him like molten rock down a tropical island.

Oguro seemed to be pleased by the development. "We wouldn't have it any other way, wouldn't we All Might?" Oguro asked, putting All Might on the spot. While the old All Might would have refused to put a student in danger, the one in charge of the great second Era of peace held no such loyalties.

"If you have the chance, you must eliminate Reo Yuki." The number one hero said somberly as he felt the rage inside Kirishima grow. The look on the boys face made All Might question not only himself but the true feelings of those living in the second age of peace.
