"Who was the girl?" Sweeney asked as Mrs. Lovett sat down at the booth, across from him. "That, Mr. T, is Celestial Monroe. The daughter of Katherine and Thomas Monroe, God rest their souls." Mrs. Lovett informed him, looking up to the ceiling when she mentioned her parents.Sweeney furrowed his brows, the names sounding familiar. "Her and her brother are the only surviving family members of the tragic event that took place over a decade ago. By the hands of the man who ruined your life." Mrs. Lovett continued.
"Judge Turpin..." Sweeney mumbled, as Nellie nodded her head and hummed. "That's right. From what I heard, after the events took place, her and her brother were sent to a dreadful orphanage. Treated them horribly, they did. However, her brother then ran away from the orphanage. A short while after, the girls aunt and uncle arrived and took her back to Lincoln, where I assume they raised her. But her brother is still in London. I know where he is." Nellie smirked.
"What is she doing here now?" Sweeney asked, knitting his brows together.
"Well, I assume she'll be looking for her brother. I think she was around seven-ish when the incident took place, so... the lass would have just turned 18? When I first learned her name I thought she'd be seeking revenge, just like you... I'm not so sure, though. Seems far too sweet to be getting her hands bloody." Nellie shrugged, leaning her chin in her palm. Sweeney just smirked though.
"What you thinking about, Mr. Todd?" Nellie raised a brow by his expression. "You say the Judge killed her family?" Sweeney asked, as Nellie nodded, curious as to where he was going with this. "Well, then, it's perfect. She'll be wanting revenge the same as me, even if she doesn't know it yet." Sweeney smirked, taking a swig from the tumbler of gin.
"Oi, now don't you be going around using the poor girl as a pawn in your revenge plan. She's a nice lass, I knew her parents, they'd be spinning in their grave if I let anything happened to their daughter." Nellie warned him, but Sweeney just rolled his eyes.
Mrs. Lovett changed the subject to a popular barber she had mentioned earlier, but Sweeney just drowned her out, thinking about the different ways he could make the young girl seek vengeance. If he got her involved, he could have the judge a lot quicker than expected...

The next morning, Celestial stirred until she woke up. Although morning had risen, the room was dark, the grey clouds denying the sun to shine down on the streets of London. Celestial sighed at the unpleasant sight. She preferred sunshine, she loved to see colour in the world, the green grass, colourful flowers, and a clear blue sky. That's how she remembered London when she was a child, everything seemed to wonderful and bright.
But now it was surrounded by nothing but a shallow darkness consuming the joy from the people living in the awful city. Celestial sighed as she thought about her younger brother. She almost felt responsible for leaving him, even if it was him who ran away from the orphanage. She wondered how he was getting on.
