Javi was driving the truck to the meeting point, Meg was in the passenger seat with Kate in the backseat. To say they were nervous was an understatement. Meg was excited to chase again after 5 years but was also a little afraid.
Meg was wearing a white blouse with the sleeves rolled up, a beige vest over it, blue jean shorts with a belt, and brown ankle boots. And she was wearing her gold horseshoe necklace.

The whole drive they could see damages caused by tornadoes, some buildings were partially up, trees were knocked down and there were still debris scattered. When they passed the underpass that they had to hold onto during the EF5 5 years ago, Meg and Kate shared a look. Javi noticed but didn't say anything about it.
"You know kid, I'm not gonna lie, I didn't think you'd come." Javi told Meg with an excited grin.
"Yeah, I almost didn't. But I decided that I needed to move on and I missed chasing." She told him with a smile. He smiled in return and squeezed her shoulder.
"It's a nice upgrade from the old van, huh?" Javi told them as he pointed out the tech he had in his truck.
"Yeah, how are you paying for all of this?" Kate asked him as she and Meg looked at all the gadgets.
"I've got investors. There're storms getting more erratic, lots of new housing developments are going up so the developers want full time weather data." Javi explained. "So anytime a new building goes up, my team at Storm Par are letting the people know exactly what the storm is gonna do."
Meg smiles when she hears that he's the same old Javi, always wanting to help people. Maybe things haven't changed too much.
"I'm telling you, I really feel like we can change the game guys." He tells them and Meg nodded with a smile.
