Meg sighed tiredly as she sat up and rubbed her face. The day had barely begun, and she was already exhausted. She got no sleep, every time she'd close her eyes, she'd be back in the tornado 5 years ago. The nightmares got worse since she chased for the first time in five years. She went to the bathroom and put some cold water on the back of her neck.
She got dressed: white tank top, denim shorts, soft forest green open buttoned shirt, brown ankle boots and her horseshoe necklace.

She opened her room door to see Kate waiting for her with a smile. After seeing Meg's tired face, she smiled sympathetically.
"How'd you sleep?" She asked knowingly. It was known between them that they both still had nightmares of the unfortunate event 5 years ago. All Meg could do was sigh as she tilted her head backwards and shook her head.
Kate smiled comfortingly as she wrapped her arm around her, "Let's fix that by getting some caffeine to wake up."
Meg laughed and nodded as they walked towards the nearby café. They walked in and had ordered coffee when Javi called them over. He's sitting next to Scott across from some man.
"Hey guys, this is one of my sponsors, Marshall Riggs. Riggs, this is Meg Harding and Kate Carter." Javi introduced them.
Immediately, something doesn't sit right with Meg about the man. The idea of using the data from the tornado scans to help tornado victims seemed really great but looking at this rich man, Meg just felt really suspicious. Meg shared a skeptical glance with Kate and the two put on a pleasant mask.
