Kate has a talk with Tyler about his intentions with Meg, Tyler overhears Scott badmouthing Meg and defends her. Meg goes home to Wakita to her parents Jo and Bill Harding, Tyler follows after her to Wakita to see how she's doing.

As soon as the tornado ended, the emergency crew arrived with Tyler's team right behind them. The mother and daughter was cared for, and Tyler's team came rushing over.
"Tyler! Meg!" They all shouted as they ran to them.
"Are you guys okay?" Dexter asked them in concern as he noticed blood dripping down Meg's arm. In amidst all the chaos, Meg hadn't noticed her injured arm until now.
"Yeah, we're okay but Meg needs her arm to be checked out." Tyler told him as he wrapped an arm around Meg and walked her to the paramedics.
The paramedics checked her arm out and thankfully it hadn't needed stitches. They cleaned her arm up and wrapped the cut in bandages and now Meg was standing with Tyler and his crew, his arm around her, when Javi and Kate showed up with his crew.
"Meg!!" Kate and Javi shouted as they ran towards her. Meg turned and smiled when she saw them.
"I'll be right back, Ty." She told Tyler before going to meet Kate and Javi halfway. Kate and Javi hug Meg as soon as she reached them.
"Thank God, you're okay Megs." Kate sighed in relief; her eyebrows pinched in worry.
"I'm fine, Kate don't worry." Meg reassured her best friend with a smile.
"Kinda hard not to worry when trouble follows your best friend around." Kate raised an eyebrow at her with a smile and Meg chuckled as she shook her head.
"When I saw the size of it on the radar and... and where it was headed, all I could think was..." Javi rambled worriedly.
"Javi, I'm okay. Maybe a little shaken up but I'm alright." Meg reassured him.
Ben looked at Tyler, his hands in his pockets and asked. "So where did you stick it out?"
Tyler points to the hollow place in the empty pool where the pipes were.
"Right down here."
Lilly turns and looks at the spot. "Good call."
"It's all Meg." Tyler told them as he looked up and watched after Meg. And anyone with eyes and ears could see and hear the love in his voice.
