what time?

I froze. Here it was. I was so ready to talk about it now I wanted to just run away. 

"What about it?" I asked looking up at him. 

"You know. When I walked you back to your room."

"Oh yeah?"

"The kiss." He clarified for me. I was acting dumb so maybe he assumed I forgot. "Whatever happened last night was a mistake. I was drunk. Nothing serious."

My whole expression changed. "Oh yeah. I figured honestly. I wasn't expecting anything more." I was. 

"That's good. Well I'm going to head back to the campus. I have to do something. See you at dinner." He walked away. That fucking walk. I hated that walk. I hate everything about him now. How do you kiss someone and not mean it? He wasn't even drinking as much that night and I know it.  

I turned back to my books and picked the 10 I wanted. After I payed at the counter I noticed that all the boys were gone and it was just me and Pansy. 

"Where did everybody go?" I walked out the door. 

"Quidditch tryouts they say. Want to go see who makes the team?" Pansy says with a big smile on her face.

"Are you actually going to support our friends or are you going to look for new boy toys?" I turn to look at her with my eyebrows raised.

"I guess we will see when we get there." 

We make it back in time to campus to watch the boys tryout, we run to our dorm to drop all of our bags and run back down to the quidditch field. 

We go to our usual seats and see the boys warming up, Draco shoots us a quick wave.

"Oh merlin, who is that handsome boy right there on Ravenclaw?" Pansy points at none other than Aiden Lockhart. 

"Oh, that's Aiden. He's super sweet." 

"Eh. So he's not the type to blow up your phone at 2am?" Pansy always did like toxic boys.

"I could have swore you and Theo got back together." 

"Oh gosh no. Too early in the year for getting back together we both agreed we were going to keep our options open and if nobody is like him then I don't want him." Pansy smiles.

"You two never made any sense to me." I rolled my eyes.

"Like you and Mattheo made any sense either." 

"What did you just say?" My eyebrows raised.

"That one summer you were living with Mattheo and his dad with your mom. Don't tell me nothing happened Mia." Pansy looked at me with disappointment.

"Nothing happened Pans. He was barely even there it was just me and the house elves reading a library away" I wasn't lying about that. Nothing happened that summer 2 years ago. That was the last time I saw my mom too. 

"Good, tryouts are over. Lets go down there." Pansy says running down the stairs that lead to the field. 

"We made the team boys! Cant wait for the first game." Theo says hugging Pansy. 

"Hey Mia." I turn around and see Aiden in his uniform. He must have made the team.

"Hey Aiden. Good job out there!"

"Thanks. You look well." He says looking me up and down. 

"You aswell." I smiled. He did look good. His tan from the summer was still there. 

"Hey uh are you busy tomorrow after classes?" He asks.

"Nope. I don't think so."

"Care to join me at Hogsmeade?" He smiles. Asking me on a date? This is perfect. Just what I needed to get my mind off of Mattheo. 

"That would be perfect. What time?" 

"Is 6:30 okay?" He asked. It was perfect actually. That was the time we all went to the astronomy tower to smoke our lives away. 

"Perfect. Don't come to my dorm. You know how the boys are. I will meet you there." I smile.

"Of course. See you then Mia." He smiles and walks off with the rest of the ravenclaws. 

"Mia did you see how I stuck that landing? It was awesome." Theo said pushing open the door to common room.

"I saw buddy. Now you guys need showers." I cover my nose jokingly. 

"Oh whatever. See you guys later." Theo says pushing me out the way and heads to his dorm.

"Finally you guys are back. I was wondering where you were." Stella says walking down the stairs with her hair curled and wearing a dress.

"And where are you going missy?" Pansy asks standing up with her arms crossed. She was acting like an overprotective mother. 

"I have a date tonight." Stella smiles.

"A date?" Enzo practically breaks his neck to turn around in the couch." 

"With who?" Pansy asks, arms still crossed.

"Cedric Diggory. He saw me at the party last night and asked me on a date." 

It fell silent, all of us were shocked. Even Draco.

"That's awesome. I hope you have fun and don't do anything you don't want to." I say getting up and holding her shoulders. I had to break the silence somehow. 

"Thanks and I wont. I have to go now, bye guys!" Stella says as she walks out the common room and into the hallways.

"Cedric fucking Diggory? I could have sworn he wanted all Slytherins locked in the dudgeon last year." Enzo said sitting back in the couch. 

"You're mad you didn't do what I told you to do sooner." I said going to sit next to him.

"For your information, last night I was keeping my options open."

"Yeah whatever. Too late now, she likes another boy." I say patting his back. "Now seriously. Go shower you are leaving sweat stains on the couch."
