Its always been you. (Mattheo Riddle)

happy birthday my dear.

The next morning regret filled over me. My dorm was empty, with nobody in it. Everybody else must already be at breakfast. I got out of my bed and got ready. Still filled with regret. Not just for Mattheo but for Aiden. I stood him up because Mattheo was being jealous. 

I walked into the Great Hall to see Astoria sitting in my place. I walk over and stand behind her.

"We tried to tell her to move." Stella whispered. 

"I'm here now Astoria. You can move." I say putting my hands on my hips and let out a huge sigh.

"My apologies. Nobody told me this seat as taken." Astoria stands and gets closer to me.

"I have been sitting at this seat since first year, honestly how stupid can one be?" I say sitting down and Astoria walks away. Good, I wasn't trying to argue on this terrible morning. I look over and make eye contact with Mattheo he quickly breaks it.    

"Mia. What are you wearing for your party tomorrow night?" Pansy asked trying to break the silence. 

"What party?" I ask picking up my fork.

"Your birthday party? Damn are you sure your okay? You never forgot about your birthday." Theo said leaning back in his chair.

"Sorry, it just slipped my mind. I guess I'll just wear a dress I have." I say playing with my food. 

"The dresses you packed are party material just not main birthday girl material. What if someone tries to upstage you? We are going back into town and to that dress shop." Pansy said putting her hand on my shoulder. I wasn't in the mood for any party let alone my birthday party, maybe it was for the best and I needed this to get my mind off of both of the boys. 

"You know best Pans." I smile. 

The bell rings and everybody disperses to class. Class, I had my first period with Mattheo and Aiden. How worse can my life get man. We walked down the hallway not speaking a word to each other nor looking at each other. This was for the best honestly. Not speaking and just going on with our days. 

"Mia!" Luna yelled running down the hallway.

"Hey Luna. Everything okay?" I asked, she was out of breath like she had been looking for me since we left the Great Hall.

"Come quick! Draco got into a fight in potions!" She said running back in the direction she came in. Me and Mattheo looked at each other for the first time and started chasing after her. We stood in front of the potions door watching along with everybody else as Cedric and Draco go at it. 

Mattheo goes in and pulls Draco off of Cedric. Cedric has blood running down his face and Draco's hands are covered in blood. I run up to them.

"Dray! What the hell happened?" I asked, looking him up and down. He was mad. He hasn't been this mad since his father hit his mother for the first time around us last year. 

"That prick said something about you, Stella, and Pansy. Said he would love to see your guys outfits at the party but on his floor." Draco said breaking free of Mattheo and walking out the door. 

"What the hell you say?" Mattheo said walking up to Cedric. 

"Leave it alone. Lets go. He's not worth it and you know it." I say grabbing his arm and walking out the class. 

Mattheo pulls away from my arm and walks back to the common rooms. He cannot be skipping class right now. Is he serious?

"What's his deal?" Draco asks wiping the blood off his hand with a handkerchief.
