Dre and his spawn wouldn't leave me alone until I agreed to join them in the pool. Even if it meant they had to spray me with their waterguns til I agreed.

I changed out of my wet clothes to a bikini top and shorts.

Never have no intention fi swim today, shuda neva tell mi self dem ago allow mi fi sit and watch dem.

Not gonna lie, we've never been this happy in weeks.

We needed this.

I gasped in shock when Cai sprayed me while my guard was down, I took my eyes off of them for just two seconds.

Dre high fived him, laughing and congratulating him on a good shot.

"Unu mean" I pout at them, "always a transpire against mi".

"Das why yuh need another one" Dre remarks still laughing, "even the odds".

"Yuh naah trick mi into that".

Cai squealed when I lunged at him. Unfortunately his father picked up before I could, he put him around his neck to sit.

They both laughed as I stared at them in disbelief.

"Cyaah believe unu a keep pool party without we".

We looked in the direction of Chey. She raised her eyebrows at us, Emmy stood next to her.

"Ummm, hi" we all answer, unsure of how to respond to her.

Chey love carry people in her heart fi the simplest things.

Always affi careful.

"And unu team up against mi girl fi wah reason?".

She typed on her phone and I hear both of our phones making noises.

"Cheyenne, don't tell mi yuh just tell everybody say we a have pool party" Dre says.

"I did".

They haven't seen much of us in a week, I did contemplate inviting them over for dinner tomorrow but since Dre wanted alone time tonight we might not have time for them tomorrow.

Why not then?.

Dre chuckles, "ahh bwoii, yaah cook or order food?".

"Ordering, when everybody reach we decide what to order", she moved closer to the pool, "I'll be right back, gonna change".

"Take your time".

I turn to look at Dre once she's gone.

"Guess we a have a pool party", he shrugs, "good thing we never make lunch yet".

"I guess so".

Two hours later we had everyone here, I couldn't believe how many of us actually hung out.

We're more than a circle.

Chey did in fact order food for everybody, Chinna brought liquor and weed for the guys, they started playing music and it turned into a big thing.

Daddy showed up with English and took away all the kids' attention, they went somewhere inside with him leaving the rest of us outside.

Dre and I ended up getting changed after getting Cai and kids out of the pool.

"How are things between you two?" Abby asks me.

"Good, great actually".

"So all it took was for you to get threatened by the big dogs?" Chey asks.
