Having an angry four months pregnant woman wasn't on my radar for today. This woman gets angry about the slightest things, if she wears mismatched socks she's crying, if she has hiccups she's crying, it's a crazy way to go about the day.

She kicked me out of the bed last night because she felt bothered by me, then she came down crying and arguing about me leaving her alone.

I went back up and sat there until she fell asleep.

The one person who doesn't irritate her is Cai, and I think it's because he can handle her mood swings, it's like she's a completely different person with him.

I'm in the house with her when he's at school, and I have to keep a sharp eye and ear.

Not to mention, she throws hands.

She's aggressive as fuck lately, I can barely fend her off.

But here I was, cooking her dinner. Because I decided I was too in love with the woman to take a day's break.

While she's she's teaching our son some new words.

I walked away from the stove to check on them. They're both laughing at something when I got over to them, giggling in fact.

Cai's hair is getting lighter by the day, his curls stayed in tact no matter what, if they get wet they stay in tact, if we oil his hair they stay in tact.

I ran my fingers in his hair, "what's so funny?".

He giggled, "the baby kicked Mommy when I touched her belly".

"Oh", I looked at Jhené, "you okay?".

Mi know the kicks dem kinda painful sometimes.

"I'm good", she placed Cai's iPad down to look at him, "we can take a few minutes break".

He shook his head, "no, I'm okay to learn some more words".

A just yesterday mi affi a teach him how fi pronounce L and today him a talk like him a big man. Mi watch the twins grow, but seeing and experiencing my son's growth was different, I can't believe he's getting older.

"Okay baby, why don't you go over the ones we just did and then I'll have you spell them for Daddy and I?".

"Okay".

Jhené stood up and walked away from us. I watched her go to the fridge, she took out two icicles then came back over to give one to Cai.

"Dinner soon ready, unu nuh need fi a eat that".

She starts to say something, I just know she's going to sass me, however, the sound of my door opening and closing caused me to step back to see who it was.

My father and my brother walked in behind each other. Both their faces held a serious look.

My father's been visiting back and forth, he said he won't let me drift back into that dark space again, he takes trips just to check on our mental health.

He refuses to take our word for it.

He's made such an effort since all that's happened to us over the years, he went from not being able to see us as he pleased to not wanting to be away from us more than a week.

He's married, but travels so often just to see us.

I love Connie, for a judge she's the softest person, she actually speaks very softly, she's patient and she love Daddy so much mi nuh think him can do any wrong in her eyes.
