Sophie's pov

I am still in shock as probably the most popular guy in school dragged me to the principal's office.
"So...what's the reason you moved to great old Cali?" he asked.
"Cali?"
"California!" Keefe said, sighing in exasperation.
"Oh! Um.. my parents got a job here so.. yeah." I replied, eyes not leaving my shoes.
"Still haven't told me your name, Mysterious girl." Keefe asked.
"It's Sophie Foster, and I'm hardly mysterious." I said, fidgeting with my hands.
"Foster, here we are! Have a nice loooooong chat with Mr.I'm-so-bored-that-I-have-to-become-principal Leto." he said in one breath.
"Where are you going?" I asked.
Why are you asking Sophie? Of course he is going to class!!
"I'm going to be at my ditching spot. Cya at lunch Foster!" and with that, he sauntered away.

I knocked on the opaque glass door of Principal Leto's office.
"Please come in!" a voice with power replied.
(I don't know how to describe voices.. so pls dont judge me)
"Ms.Foster! What a surprise, how can I help you? Is the school fine so far?" Principal Leto asks.
"Principal Leto, I was wondering if you could assist me with finding my classes. You see, I get lost very often." I asked.
"You may call me Magnate Leto and I know just the person. She actually came here just a few moments ago asking for extra credit you see.. Let's both walk to her classroom."

We made some confusing turns and went down different paths when finally we stopped in front of a classroom door.

"Lady Anwen, may I speak to Biana?" Magnate Leto asks.
"Yes Leto."
A girl my age walked out of the classroom. She looks like any typical Disney princess that walked straight out of the fantasy books. She has auburn brown hair with teal eyes and lots of makeup.

I thought only 1% of the people on earth have them? There weren't a lot theoretically, and damn are they pretty!

"Hey! My name's Biana and I heard that you need an assistant to guide you through your school days?" she asks.
"Yes, I am a bit confused with school. But won't helping me affect your schedules?" I said.
"Nope, cuz Magnate Leto is fixing mine so ours will be identical. Except for probably a few classes. But don't worry, I'll take you to ALL your classes." Biana said.
"But wouldn't you be late for YOUR classes?" I asked.
"Magnate Leto makes sure that my teachers know about helping you out." Biana said, winking.

"Now come on! Let's get you to class. You have......ah, History with Lady Ceah."
We passed some classes when suddenly Biana stopped.
"We're here! Have fun!! I'll join you next week." Then she left.
I took a few deep breaths before opening the door.

The class went through fairly fast, and the next big thing is lunch.
I've always hated lunchtime, since it is where most gossip happens. But you do get info faster this way.

I grabbed a piece of fruit and a juice box then began searching for a seat.

"FOSTER!!! COME SIT WITH US!!!!!" a voice shouted half-way across the cafeteria.
I blushed as people stared at me.
I quickly moved towards them and spotted 3 people I didn't know of. Clearly, this is where 'the populars' sit.
"Keefie! Why do you have to shout so loudly?" Biana asks.
"Hey Biana, Keefe, Fitz." I said.
"I'm Marella, not Mare, not Ella. No nicknames." The girl with shoulder length honey-blonde hair and pixie-like features said.
"I'm Linh and this is my brother Tam. He tries to act all sad and moody but actually he is a very sweet guy." The girl with black hair and silver tips said, gesturing to a boy with similar features.
"Hello, I'm Sophie." I said.
"That's a pretty name." Linh said, smiling sweetly.
All the girls at the table look so pretty, I bet all the guys have crushes on them.

"Hey Sophie, do you have a roommate yet?" Marella asks.
"Oh shot, no I don't..." I replied, suddenly realizing that I haven't found one yet.
"Well.. luckily Biana doesn't have one. Maybe you would want to ask her?"
"Sure! Thanks a lot Marella!"

"Biana! Hey."
"Hey Soph, what's up?"
"I was wondering if you'd like to be roommates. Since Marella told me you don't have one.."
"Omg yes!! I'll have everything planned out. Meet me at the library after school." She said.
"Sure, thanks a lot."
"You're welcome!"
