Sophie's pov
Biana had a goofy grin on her face, giving me a feeling that she knows something that we all don't. And I'm determined to find out what.
"Hey B, what are you so happy about?" I asked, trying to get her talking so we could maybe get some information out of her.
"Oh nothing, just the fact that I realized Fitz left the door of his room open and I went in and may or may not have stolen a few stuff....." she said, a devilish grin on her face.
I heard a muffled scream on top of us, then a few shushing noises. I looked up once again and squinted my eyes, I'm almost POSITIVE there's someone or something up there.
Marella, Maruca, and Linh must've seen me looking up; so Maruca asked for a ladder and Marella went to get 4 water guns. I have a gut feeling about who's up there..... and things are about to get messy.
Linh helped Maruca set up the ladder as I tried to distract Biana so she doesn't ruin our plan, because I have another feeling that she is in on this one too.
Marella hid the water guns under her dress—I have no idea how she fit 4 water guns under a tight dress, don't ask me—and handed them to us. Linh and I raised our water guns up and sprayed a hell lot, emptying the bottle in less than a minute. While Marella and Maruca sprayed at Biana, soaking her wet and screaming. I ran to open the lights and saw Keefe, Fitz and Tam sitting at the wooden frames that held Everglen's structure, soaking and dripping cold water.
"Got you." I said triumphly. Keefe smirked, "Not so much." then dumped a bucket of ice water on me. How did he get that bucket up there? Don't even ask me, I shivered and went with Biana to change.
Biana and I were having a karaoke in her room after we finished showering and changing into our pajamas.
"And you got me thinking, 2 plus 2 equals 5" I sang
"And I'm the love of your life" Biana sang
"Cause if the rain don't pour the sun don't shine, then changing you is possible. No, love is never logical." We sang together.
"Girl I never knew you listen to Olivia Rodrigo!" Biana exclaimed.
"Neither did I! We should really do this more often." I said.
"We really should know what song to do next...."
A loud rattled knock interrupted our little karaoke.
"Were you guys having a girls karaoke without us?!" Marella gasped, putting a hand over where her heart was.
"Well..... maybe?" I squeaked, Marella dragged us to the Vackers' living room, where the rest of the gang was seated.
"Who wants to do karaoke?" Biana shouted.
"Never gonna give you up, never gonna let you down" Keefe sang.
"Never gonna run around and desert you, never gonna make you cry" Fitz sang.
"Never gonna say goodbye, never gonna tell a lie and hurt you" Tam sang.
And DANG Tam has a vocal range.
Of course, the girls had to have our chance to shine too.
"Ooh I bet you're thinking, "She's so cool", kicking back on your couch making eyes across the room" Linh sang with beautiful vocals.
"Wait, I think I've been there too, ooh. What'd she did to get you off?" Maruca sang, her voice faltering over the lyrics she didn't know that well.
"Taking down her hair like, oh my god. Taking off your shirt, I did that once. Or twice" Marella sang.
The night was filled with karaokes, movies, and cute trick-or-treaters who dressed up as many different characters. (Keefe claims that the best one is the little guy wearing a batman costume since quoting Keefe "Batman can be your hero anyday from now.")
