-Halloween Edition Pt.1-

Marella's pov

It's now 16 days until Halloween, hooray? Honestly my family never actually celebrated Halloween in our house, it was 'unimportant' as they used to say. But this year, I was planning on making a difference. (That sounded so weird.... nvm)

I first discussed about plans for a Halloween party/sleepover with my best friend Linh Song and Maruca Chebota. They suggested some.... Interesting ideas.

"We would need some flowers and cute puppies to play with!!" Linh said, she loves all things cute.
"No Linh, we need skeletons, haunted houses, scary movies, and staying up late telling ghost stories to each other." Maruca said, she—well, let's just say she is the exact opposite of Linh. So I have no idea how them two became friends, much less besties.
"That's too scary!! Halloween can be cute too, we can stay up late watching Disney Halloween movies?" Linh suggested.
"No Linhhhhhh!!! The whole point of Halloween is to be scary, or be scared!!!" Maruca complained.
Ugh, this is going to be a VERY long day.

-after 1 ½ hours of arguing-
We finally came up with a doable plan, but first we will need some tips from the party queen herself—-Biana Vacker.

Brr brrrrrrr
"Hello?" A voice said, sounding faraway.
"Hey it's Marella." I said, there are some shuffling noises on the phone.
"Oh hey Mare! Wait a sec, I'm almost done with my makeup." Biana said, trailed with some more shuffling noises.
"What. Did. I. Say? No NICKNAMES!! Not Mare, not Ella, only Marella." I said, >humph< Some people just DON'T get that I DESPITE nicknames!!!
"Okay okay, sorry!!" she said, clearly sounding not sorry at all.

"What do you need help with?" Biana said, some creaking noises coming from her. I suppose she's sitting down, so I sat down on my bed too in case this is going to take long. Which in our case, it probably is going to.

-1 hr later-
Biana kept getting side-tracked by little stuff such as "awww your hair is so pretty today" or "did you know that Fitz got a new suit just to impress Sophie cuz he think he still have a chance with her?" and "Ohmigosh this is my fav song!!" etcetera... (I can name a 'few' more if you'd like?) So it turned out to be a total waste of time, but in another pov it was 'effective' since Biana usually took 3 hrs to discuss 1 thing, so this is kinda an improvement.

"Meet me at the mall in 1." Biana said then hung up, sigh only Biana could take an hour to get ready for shopping.
I got out of bed and stretched, the asmr sounds of my bones cracking made me feel better.

I rubbed my eyes and yawned, "Get yourself together Redek." I threw on a pair of black leggings and a cute teal-ish top that sprayed out like a skirt at the end and a pair of red converse. (I have weird fashion senses... this prob looked ugly) I sat on the orange bean bag I have in my room and scrolled on my phone, posting my outfit for the day and scrolled on insta.

I opened my chat w/ Biana on insta and texted "It's fine, I'll go get something to eat first then."
Biana read it and reacted with a thumbs up emoji.

I got up and walked to the mall, my head full of music and thoughts, constantly swirling. I pulled my hoodie closer to my body, the crisp autumn air filled my lungs. I saw a cute little candy shop and went in, hundreds of different smells overwhelmed my senses.
They all look so pretty and cute!!
Eventually I settled in with a bag of blue candy–suggested by a worker named Sally who claims to have a son the same age as me and adores them. I went to a seat located in between 2 giant windows and scrolled online, reading some fanfics.

I ate a candy and immediately the blueberry flavored sweet aroma filled the my tastebuds. I turned to face the women who suggested me this and said "Oh my gosh! This is the best candy I've ever tasted!!". The women smiled, skin around her eyes crinkled, she have brownish-black hair with warm brown eyes and said "Well I'm glad you liked them,"

Biana just had to choose to come in that moment, "Marella, let's go shopping!!!!". I groaned internally "Thank you Sally!! I'm Marella by the way.", Sally smiled and said "Come back soon I'm sure my son would love to meet you. Have fun girls!" and gave me a motherly wink before I'm dragged out by Biana.

Happy early Halloween guys!! Sry for not updating, I'm having an annoying "writers' block" tho I don't count myself as a writer.... Anyways, I'll try to update soon or maybe end this story soon...... have fun reading and toodles!!
