i brushed my hand through the snow, lightly removing it from the tombstone uncovering the name of who it belonged to.

"in a week it would've been our anniversary, touya," a tear managed to crawl out of my eyes and tried to smile. "but it'll be your death anniversary."
the wind started to pick up, indicating that the temperature was about to lower even more and i needed to go now.
i wrapped my scarf to cover my neck and mouth entirely, making my way out of the lonely graveyard.
not looking back and keeping my head down to avoid catching snow in my eyes i started walking faster before the night could catch up to me, but suddenly bumping onto a slim black figure.
"my bad." i looked up and apologized to the man in a black hoodie covering his features as i made my way out.
he didn't respond, and stood there minding his business just as i should've.
