09: The book of prophecy

Seth pulled out two daggers again and I prepared myself for his attack. When he threw the two daggers, I immediately sent my arrow towards a dagger and it flew towards Diego who screamed because he was almost hit.

"Sorry!" I shouted before quickly pulling out another arrow and hitting the last dagger.

I don't want to hurt him but  if I don't do it, I will be the one who gets hurt. I took an arrow and shot Seth. He got rid of it quickly but I also quickly got another arrow and hit the direction of his foot so he almost lost his balance.

I took that opportunity to run away from him but I met Anais and she was about to hit me with arnis but I grabbed it and pushed her towards the direction of Seth.

You should fight each other. I'm afraid of you both.

I had intended to approach Aya so that we could help each other to get rid of Diego but it was unnecessary.

"Shit! I was the first to be eliminated right away?! How will I know who will be my wife?!" Diego screamed scratching his head and frowned as he approached Miss Lovely who was laughing.

I smiled when I saw that he had a sticker with Aya's name on his forehead.

"Congrats. You managed to beat Diego." I said to Aya as I approached her.

"He's easy to fight with. He is also afraid of hurting me so I won." she said shaking her head and still laughing.

I know that they can't really hurt Aya. She's too precious. I'll go easy on her. I don't want to hurt her too.

"What do we do now?" I asked her.

"We don't have a choice." she smiled and adjusted her grip on her whip.

I smiled and walked away from her a little. I also put my bow behind me because I can't use it on Aya.

She tried to pull me with her whip but I was too quick too avoid it. I know it will hurt a lot when I get hit by it.

When she tried five times, I reached for her whip but I was surprised because she suddenly got stronger and also reached for her whip and pulled it so I fell. Shit.

I got up immediately and waited for her next attack. She turned her whip and sent it in my direction but I immediately jumped high and rolled before I slid my foot on her foot and she lost her balance and fell down.

Before she could stand up, I immediately lay on top of her and smiled at her. "Sorry." I said and stuck my sticker on her clothes.

She laughed. "It's okay. I don't want to fight them either."

I stood up and helped her stand up. She told me good luck before she left and went to Diego. I even saw Diego laugh at her as if he's teasing her for being defeated.

I picked up the arrows that had fallen earlier and put them behind me. Now, how can I use it against them? I've been here in the Academy for only what? Weeks! And they were here for years! Unfair.

My eyes widened when a small phoenix made of fire passed in front of me going to the back so I looked behind me and saw Fire there as if he had been there for a while.

Is he really the one I'm gonna fight with? I don't want to! I know he is very annoyed with me and he might even kill me.

"Ready yourself." his deep voice said.

What will I say? Shit.

I took the bow and arrow behind me and thought about how I could defeat him. What is my arrow against that man?

The sword he is holding is the one that is not made of fire because they are not allowed to use the element. It's really good that's not allowed because if it's possible I'm sure I'll lose right away.
