"Four hours. Just four hours. We can do this!" said Diego encouraging himself.
Just a little while and we can go back to the Academy. I just want to lie down and sleep. My legs hurt so much and I'm about to give up.
"We can use our elements naman na diba? I mean, malapit na tayo sa Academy." Aya asked. She's also tired now.
"Not yet. We should walk for two hours and then you use your element, Aya." Fire said and we all nodded at him.
We haven't had a proper sleep yet. We sleep anywhere and it's only for a few hours. We can't be complacent especially since we are outside the Academy. We're not safe here.
"What do you think the council will do when they find out what the book of prophecy said?" Diego suddenly asked.
"Endless of training." sagot ni Seth.
"For sure they will call all senior element holders to ask for help to protect the Academy. We will need all the help we can get." said Anais.
Yeah. All the help we can get. Evil people is a hard enemy. We don't wanna lose so we need to create a big and strong army to defeat them.
I don't want us to lose. I don't want to die. My parents protected me my whole life and then I'll just die here too? I won't let that happen.
"I'm just curious, are your parents was students of the Academy?" I asked them curiously.
"My... brother was. For two years, but he left the Academy to look after me. He said that he wanted to w-watch me grow and that he'll teach me to control my element." Aya answered with sad smile.
It's so sad that her brother couldn't see her now. How she became strong and kind lady. I'm sure he's proud of her.
"Not our parents but our Aunt and Uncle, Mom's siblings. Unfortunately they died when the evil people attacked the Academy." Diego said.
"I'm sorry to hear that." I suddenly felt guilty.
"No, it's fine. We never met them before. Mom just talked about them but it's fine. They were good students she said." he said smiling.
"My Dad was a student at the Academy. He met my Mom when he was in a mission and they fell in love. Mom got pregnant and I was born. Mom told me that Dad was planning to leave the Academy b-but... the evil people attacked and then... Mom rushed to see if Dad's okay but h-he... didn't make it. He died while holding our family picture." I saw some tears from Anais' eyes but she smiled immediately.
I approached her and held her hand. "I know your Dad is so proud of you, Anais."
She smiled and tightened her grip on my hand. "I know. I volunteered to go to the Academy because he was a student there. Mom told me that Dad loved the Academy but he was willing to leave it for me. For our family."
"He loves you so much. You and your Mom." I told her.
Next I looked at Fire who was walking emotionlessly and didn't seem to hear what we talked about.
"Aren't you gonna share?" I asked him.
"Don't have to." he answered sparingly.
I rolled my eyes even he can't see it. "Oh come on! I'm not gathering informations if that's what you're thinking."
I heard Anais and Diego's laugh. This guy is still thinking that I am an enemy? I already have my element! I mean... two elements?
"Shut up."
I rolled my eyes again and looked at Anais to give me some answers. She laugh when she realized what I want. "Yes. Fire's parents was students at the Academy but his Mom left the Academy when she got pregnant while his Dad stayed. Being pregnant is not allowed in the Academy."
