18: Something bigger

A week after we went to Fire's house, we started training again. Uncle Ackel did not come back to the Academy but he will help with the weapons we will need. He is one of those who can help a lot in the Academy especially that he has many connections.

He also told us that he will come to the Academy but he need to do something first. That is to find my parents and Donna. Now that he knows my parents are alive and they had me, he wanted to find Donna because he believes that she's still alive too. He wants to find her for Thairon, his best friend.

After we ate dinner, we went up to our rooms to sleep. We were very tired because the sun hadn't risen yet and we were already training.

Our nervousness also decreased a bit because the holders learn quickly. They can do better than before. I think they are underestimated the holders or they just don't focus so much that they can't do the training properly right away.

Almost all of the holders are scared of Fire. After all, who wouldn't be afraid if he's always angry and always out of the mood. His head is always hot.

Should I pour cold water on him? Maybe his head will get cold.

I was annoyed to get up when I still couldn't fall asleep. It's been three hours when I lay down on the bed to sleep but I really couldn't sleep!

I glanced at the clock and saw that it's 11 pm. We will wake up early the next day but until now I am still wide awake.

I almost screamed when the window opened and a strong wind came in. I guess I didn't lock the window.

I put on mu slippers and went to the window to close it but stopped when I saw someone near the forest. Even though it was dark, I knew he was looking at me.

Is that Lefu?

But that's impossible because he can't go near the Academy.

I was about to close the window but the wind whispered from that man. "Come here. I will tell you the truth."

Truth? What truth?

No. I shouldn't trust anyone. Professor Lu scolded me and I don't want that to happen again. No, Solanna. Close the window and sleep.

I turned around but I couldn't move my feet away. I feel like I need to come to him. What's wrong with me?!

I rolled my eyes and jumped from the window. I used my element to fly and followed him into the forest. We didn't go very far.

"Who are you?" I asked him.

He looks familiar to me. He's a student here, obviously. Brown hair and eye glasses with petite body. Everyone calls him nerd. If I remember it correctly, two days ago, Fire scolded him because he was not focusing.

"Euri. I'm also a student here." He adjusted his eye glasses and looked at me from head to toe.

"What truth are you talking about, Euri?" I asked him straight to the point.

I can't stay long and maybe someone will see us here. I'm also afraid that Fire will suddenly appear. His feeling is very strong.

"The truth that you want to know. First, about your two elements-" my eyes widened and I covered his mouth with my hand.

"How did you know? Did you tell anyone?" no one should know it!

He shook his head and dropped my hand. "I didn't tell anyone. I saw you playing with the water at the lake. I suggest you stop doing that because if the council heard about a student can hold more than one element? You'll be in trouble. They will use you to protect the academy at all cost. They will control you or worst they will kick you out and let the evil people get you. They can even think that you're part of the evil people because no one can hold more than one element. Not even in the history."
