THE GHOSTS SURROUNDED SAM as she worked on a range of article ideas. As Jay entered the house back from his trip for coffee.
"Babe? Sam? Hey. I got you your favorite." He began to call looking for his wife before noticing her in the front room.
"Oh, Daisy's Coffee Shop. I love this place. Thanks, babe." Sam replied happily taking the coffee from him.
"That is an americano for my booboo, and a perfectly normal adult caffeinated beverage for me." Jay explained for no reason, maybe to keep the ghosts aware. Thea tilted her head a Jays drink choice wishing she could try it.
"This is not a man who's destined to keep it tight, Sam." Trevor told the living hinting at his clear jealousy of Jay.
"What are you working on?" Jay asked her now noticing her laptop.
"Well, I'm trying to come up with article ideas for my meeting at The Ulster County Review tomorrow." She told him, re looking at some of the bad ideas she had down.
"The New Yorker of the Hudson Valley? That's a big opportunity." He said clearly proud of her.
"Yeah, this is the kind of serious journalism I've always wanted to do, and if it goes well, it could turn into a regular gig."
"You're gonna kill it, babe. All right, I'll leave you to it." Jay told her before leaving the room and licking the whip cream from his drink.
"I can't watch a man do this to himself." Trevor said looking a Jay with a disgusted look.
"I'm okay with it." Isaac added also not taking his eyes off the living man.
"I just want to try that drink." Thea told them pouting, before leaving Trevor's side and taking a seat on the side of the couch.
"Love you, babe." Jay called out, getting a wave from Sam in response.
"Ooh, wait. I've got an article idea for you. What about a profile of a local celebrity?" Alberta moved the conversation on, getting up from the couch and taking a stand in the centre of the room.
"Ooh, like who?" Sam questioned her.
"I'm right here." Alberta responded as Thea rolled her eyes.
"If you're writing an article about of the ghosts, shouldn't you want to write about the most famous one? Me." Thea joined in wanting more information about her out in the world and wanting to tell her side.
"I'm sorry Thea. There's already a lot of stories about you out there, someone's even made a movie." Sam told the girl quickly shutting down the girls hope, however Thea's eye lit up at the point of a movie about her.
"Someone made a movie about me and we haven't watched it." She quickly replied to Sam jumping up from her seat.
"You said you wanted a good story, I'm a good story." Alberta moved the article ideas back to her.
